She Doesn't Hold Back: Sarah Palin Calls Barack And Michelle 'Unpatriotic' & 'Racist'

The thing about calling something a non-patriot is a debatable term. What makes someone a patriot. Do you simply need to love your country? Do you want to move your country forward? Do you argee with some guys who had various different opinions who gathered up against a alliance against a single enemy nation over 200 years ago?

If believing in giving rich corporations the right to do anything they want like put their foot over labor rights, and moving all their jobs out for cheap labor leaving only awful jobs while giving them generous tax cuts, and corporate welfare, then yes Sarah Palin is a mighty patriot.

Republicans stand for giving the rich more and the poor less. They want you to buy expensive health insurance to benefit the greedy insurance companies and the private practice. They want you to pay for college because free stops at basic education levels. They want you to work to pay for everything you use while they can in turn help their criminal friends who employ most of these people by giving them worse jobs, little benefits, the end of overtime and a vanishing pension when you go to collect it so not only do they want you to fish for yourself they want you to have a dinky fishing pole in a tiny pond while they use a big boat and fishing nets in the open ocean. True patriots.

On the note of racism, seriously? Can anyone honestly call Obama racist? The man if half white and half black and he was very close to his mother's side. He also had a asian stepfather and half-asian sister. The man is all about civil rights, and he stands for a party that always gets the minority vote. Sarah Palin stands for a party that has spat on civil rights, and has turned against a population of Latinos who would vote conservative if they didn't try to make their lives miserable.

The Alaskan Independence Party is a political party in the U.S. state of Alaska that advocates an in-state referendum which includes the option of Alaska becoming an independent country. The party also advocates positions similar to those of the Constitution Party and Libertarian Party, supporting gun rights, privatization, home schooling, and limited government.

It has been alleged that some of its members in the past have also proposed that the state explore the possibility of joining Canada. Some other members have expressed opposition to joining Canada in its present form but are open to the possibility of joining an independent Western Canadian province or territory including the Yukon and Northwest Territories.[citation needed] Neither of these scenarios have ever formed any part of the party's platform.

She may be "speaking the truth" - but the very last sentence in the article.."The attack is likely to deepen the impression that the former Alaska governor is too divisive a figure to win the presidency"....is the truest statement made in the entire piece.

She'll be a great candidate. We hope you guys nominate her for 2012. She's a very mean spirited lady only in it for the money. She'll probably just quit halfway through anyway, if something better comes along.

:clap2:

that's silly, she's no meaner than ted kennedy was. she just believes in herself, and her own values. obama quit the senate.

HAHA! Obama quit the Senate to become President.

Palin quit the governorship to become a reality TV star.

:clap2:

Palin goes on reality TV to complain about a neighbor who's writing a book about her and tells Todd to drill a hole in the fence so she can watch him watching her.

And you want this lunatic to be President?:cuckoo:

this is a recanted opinion from u.k. on an indian or indiana website, either way i think it's right on, and i think palin is accurate. this is why liberals are so at odds with us conservatives

Actually, the reason liberals are so at odds with Republicans is only a few, but they are major.

Republicans ruined the economy. They want vast government intrusion into our lives denying civil rights and placing women's bodies under government control and regulation. They are so for corporations over the middle class, they apologize to corporations who devastate our landscape. They push their awful mystical beliefs onto the public targeting our public schools and children especially. They target many minorities. They threaten this country constantly with violence and they insist this country belongs to them and they want it back. They call the president of the United States the worst names possible and endlessly accuse him of every nonsensical thing they can imagine, the most recent being a trip that cost 200 million dollars a DAY! Their leadership helps send millions of jobs overseas and the base approves. And the rest of the world sees our Republican party as a terrible danger. And finally, they have zero interest in any type of negotiation and can only see the world through their limited understanding and perspective.

I think that pretty much sums up the Republican Party. Now, somewhere, there might be a Republicans who disagrees, but ask them to point out which point was mistaken and they can't. It's not that they won't, they can't. But they will call names. They are very good at calling dirty names.

there a so many wild claims in this paragraph let's look at these two...
how did the republicans ruin the economy ?
the world sees republicans as... ? seems like a sweeping statement, care to back it up?

How did the Republicans ruin the economy? OK.

From 2001 to 2008, the Republican leadership put into place subsidies and tax breaks that moved millions of jobs to China. In fact, the Republican Chamber of Commerce (the same group that gave Republicans 75 million dollars during the last election), along with China, gave seminars across the US on how to outsource to China.
The 2.4 trillion dollar tax break with more than 52% going to the top 1%.
The "Drugs for Votes" bill costing trillions passed through reconciliation.
The lack of building any infra structure.
Due to deregulation of Wall Street, 70% of the mortgage industry was moved from "Freddie/Fannie" to Wall Street where the bundled mortgages they sold to anyone who could sign their name overseas as securities, which they insured betting they would fail and when they did fail, collected billions (hence the term "derivatives").
The billions in no bid contracts in Iraq. Not to mention two failed wars.

Don't even get me started. There is nothing here I haven't linked to endlessly.

As far as the right wing being dangerous? Remember, Bush was the "leader" of the Republican Party. Many in that party are now saying, "Miss me yet?"

In 2002, in a survey of 38,000 people in 44 countries, the Pew Research Center found that the U.S. global image had slipped. But when we went back this spring after the war in Iraq – conducting another 16,000 interviews in 20 countries and the Palestinian Authority – it was clear that favorable opinions of the U.S. had plummeted.

Commentaries for 2010 - Pew Research Center for the People & the Press

What is most striking, however, is how anti-Americanism has spread. It is not just limited to Western Europe or the Muslim world. In Brazil, 52% expressed a favorable opinion of the U.S. in 2002; this year, that number dropped to 34%. And in Russia, there has been a 25-point decline in positive opinions of the U.S. over the past year (61% to 36%).

If anything, fear and loathing of the U.S. has intensified in recent months. A Eurobarometer survey conducted among European Union countries in October found that as many people rate the U.S. as a threat to world peace as say that about Iran. Even in the United Kingdom, the United States' most trusted European ally, 55% see the U.S. as a threat to global peace. And in four countries – Greece, Spain, Finland and Sweden – the United States is viewed as the greatest threat to peace, more menacing than Iran or North Korea.

She is presidential because finally, we have a contender that speaks the truth and isn't afraid of political correctness standing in the way.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remember the glee and all the talk of Amending our Constitution so that he might one day be POTUS?
That was way beck in 2003. How'd that hopey changey from the right work out for ya?
Now, Sarah Palin is the darling of the right. Same glee, and no need to change our Constitution.
That's good, correct?
But one thing bothers me. I know the Birther's will agree, I'm sure they didn't want Arnie, given he's from somewhere else. Well, some in Alaska are from somewhere else, not in space but in mind. The are the members and support the Alaskan Independence Party.
Sarah Palin, former Alaska Governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, attended the 2006 party convention as a Republican candidate for Governor of Alaska. In 2007, after winning her election, Sarah Palin delivered a taped welcome message for the party's convention.
In 1994, both Todd and Sarah Palin attended the party convention, which was held in their hometown of Wasilla. At the time, Sarah Palin was a sitting city councilmember of Wasilla.

did you get cross threaded, what the hell are you talking about ?

Huh? The post requires explanation? If Gov Palin is being discussed as a candidate for POTUS isn't it important to understand her loyalties?
Is that too difficult to understand?

No offense, but the way you describe your ideas is what gives the right wing ammo. For instance, "Republicans stand for giving the rich more and the poor less".

The right keeps insisting Democrats want to "give" away what isn't their's to "give away".

The truth is, it's not a question of "giving away".

The real issue is how the country is viewed by the two parties. Democrats, being a coalition party made up of many different people, still sees the US as a country of "all of us together but with different viewpoints". The exact opposite of the Republican viewpoint. When Republicans say, "We want our country back", it's not a metaphor or an "idea", but the meaning is completely literal. Back to the "white people" with the "Christian religion". The Republican Party is 90% white. They see the US as "us" (Republicans) and "them" (everyone else), and they want their country back.

Those two mentalities are translated into policy in very different way. Democrats don't want to "give" to poor people, they want to make it possible for poor people to no longer be poor. Democrats want everyone to have a chance at a better life.

Republicans have devolved into a kind of "every man for himself" mentality. They don't see why a growing and thriving middle class is actually good for business. They think that Democrats only want to "take their wealth". The majority of Republicans have no wealth. The never had wealth. And somehow, they believe they have no wealth because it's been stolen by Democrats who want to turn us into a "socialist/Communist/Marxist/Fascist" nation not even knowing what those words mean. Actually, many don't even have health insurance.

So it's not a question of "giving", but a question of everyone paying their "fair share". Why should corporations, who were able to get rich in this stable and wealthy country not support the country that allowed them to get rich? Why should wealthy Americans who rarely join the military not pay extra when they don't have to put their lives on the line to protect their "wealth" they only could have achieved here?

Rich people and corporations have to pay their fair share. How much are the lives of American soldiers worth? In my mind, a lot.

Yes, it happened. From the moment he announced his run for presidency. Oh, and regardless of what the right wing says, Obama never received Affirmative Action, there are no watermelons growing at the White House, and he really did write both of his books.

But you know who did receive Affirmative Action? Bush, when he was jumped over thousands more qualified because of his father's connections. McCain, graduated fifth from the BOTTOM out of 899 because of his father's and grandfather's connections. Rich people's "Affirmative Action". Obama did it the old fashioned way. He took out student loans, they same way I did. The same way many Americans have done it. Republicans even lie about that. Go ahead, add to the lie.

as visually appealing as your wall of text is, it's still democrat hyperbole, the world thinks the republican party is dangerous is subjective, most of the world, does not follow "american republicans" enough to know one way or another. it's a grand statement, i'll conceed moot. however just as many countries hate us after two years of liberalism. –

the United States is viewed as the greatest threat to peace, more menacing than Iran or North Korea. john bolton, this morning... we may have a problem in N.K. so not so much... to that argument.
the europian union is a mess that has sponged off our umbrella of security since ww 2, damning us for the very protection we provide... europe sucks, they can't even take care of their socialist selves, even without the expense of military viability. so who cares what "europe" thinks.

They borrowed $2 trillion to give a tax cut to people who didn't need one... this is a good example of ass backward "obama math" and hyperbole, much like the well touted "clinton surplus"

after nine eleven , most democrats, went along with the presidents actions, because we were at war. if memory serves me, some members of congress voted to topple saddam, a clinton policy... what would the dems have said had bush done nothing, you want it both ways...
harry reid says we lost the iraq war, i dis agree. and:

in your elegant solioquy, i see no mention of acorn, barney frank, bill cinton, nancy pelosi, timothy geithner, and a host of other democrats contributors. i think their are democrats that wouldn't pin the entire economy on one party or the other.

finally, it looks as if you have already "started"... which i think is great. somalia ??

The press in general doesn't seem to understand the concept of free advertising.

The liberals give Palin some.

And whenever Fox News or some conservatives want to bitch and moan about some "shocking" new violent video game or sex filled album or whatever, they do the same thing.

Although Fox News gives Palin free advertising so she wouldn't disappear if everyone else ignored her.

no, they who can't stop elevating her power and presence, which is what she wants, whereby if the democrats and press ignored her as "so called unimportant and stupid" she will simply go away and that would help their obama" well, she might not just disappear, but you see my point ? the democrats and press are helping her to become president... why ?

She attracts audience in the media so of course the commercial media is going to over-cover her. But there's a big difference between being a media draw and a viable presidential candidate.
