this program was a local initiative and did not involve federal agencies or Obama

I am sure OB welcome the local initiative as an intervention for trouble youth but it was hardly a federal program and had nothing to do with OB

The SCOTUS is clearly wrong.
In a democracy you can not have two tiers with different rights, like we try to do with convicted felons, after their sentence is over.
There is no legal basis for it, and it is a contradictory compromise of rights that can only lead to the loss of all rights.
The SCOTUS is often wrong, like the Dred Scott decision, and we have to try to do better than that.

Whether or not one believes in some sort of gun control laws, clearly the 2nd amendment puts any and all gun control out side of federal jurisdiction.
Any federal weapons law is as illegal as if there were an attempt to make a federal speed limit.
It just can never even be remotely legal.
Weapons law have to be local, as they should differ from AL to NY.
The SCOTUS just is clearly and completely wrong.
