Why are you afraid to respond to the OP?

Why are you afraid to respond to the OP?
what in OP do you want a response to????????????

I at least expected you to have something intelligent to say about the "against" article, but you keep babbling about East Germany. It's almost as if you don't know where you are.

what did article say exactly????
It said "Click on the link and you'll find out."

I posted the article. If you're admitting it frightens you, that's okay. If it doesn't, you'll click on it and read it and comment on it. Try.

Since Medicare and Medicaid and VA are all "socialist" systems, I realize you cannot support any of them. Right? .
right, a system in which people are shopping with their own money and providers are competing on the basis of price and quality would cut prices in half in one year.
Link?
.
total idiot liberal wants a link to know that people were poor in East Germany and rich in West Germany????
See, Mac1958? Pure babble.
Virtually all of his posts include either some reference to "IQ" or "100% stupid" or both.

The rest is usually some weird, whimsical commentary that has the solidity of water.

I don't sense a significant amount of intellectual elasticity there.

I noticed you "missed" much of my post and didn't quote it. Let's get specific and confirm that you're saying:
  • The 93-year old woman with a heart condition and diabetes just needs to figure out how to shop for, compare, decide on and pay for insurance that will take her (which we know won't happen)
  • It's fine with you that the health care system has to either absorb people whose medical conditions have significantly deteriorated because they've had no access to preventive or diagnostic services, causing you to pay more for yours
  • If the young widower with two children can't afford health coverage, well, the three of them are just out of luck, no biggie
  • It's no big deal that businesses from coast to coast are burdened with the premium and administrative costs of health care coverage
All that is correct, yes? And of course, you see absolutely no detriment to the country that, in a true free market health care system, the health insurance companies could simply refuse to take anyone with problematic (or even potentially problematic, based on underwriting) health conditions to keep risks and costs low. We can't have the government regulating that, because that would be "socialism".

I don't want to put words in your mouth, I'm just going by your posts. So that's all good, am I correct?
