In the end, it doesn't matter what the political leanings are of good journalists because their job is to grill candidates no matter what party they belong to.

Hillary Clinton didn't whine like a little baby when she was made to spend a good deal of time talking about her e-mails and Benghazi. Bernie Sanders didn't throw a tantrum when he has had to spend a good deal of time explaining socialism.

Republican candidates have been whining after every debate, even complaining about FOX News moderators for being too tough. CNBC is filled with pro-free market capitalist types who wanted serious answers on the debt regarding Republican pie-in-the-sky ideas about offering the country trillions more in tax cuts. Perfectly valid question.

I hope Republican candidates end up shutting out the mainstream media and have Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and company moderate their debates, because we'll finally see their positions laid out bare before us: no abortion even in cases of rape; no gays getting married or serving in the military; science is a hoax; we should have a full out ground war in at least 2 or 3 countries; and tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires will magically save us all. Let 'em have the moderators they want and let us sit back with our popcorn and see just how batshit crazy they really are.
