Solzhengitsyn's book is nothing more than a set of prison tales. However, after the title of this book it says so: "The Experience of Artistic Research." Solzhenitsyn's ramblings have been dealt with many times already. But this book turned out to be convenient for the enemies of the USSR. Just like the nazis of Ukraine today. That's the only reason for its popularity.
