Index of Economic Freedom: Promoting Economic Opportunity and Prosperity by Country

The biggest problem facing America today is its free-fall in economic freedom thanks to President Obama's leftist policies. When Obama entered office, America was #5 in economic freedom and considered "Free" according to Heritage Foundation rankings. Now, America is #10, only considered "mostly free", and is dropping quickly.

Thanks to President Obama, America is being encumbered with a mass of federal regulations, high taxes, big government, and disdain for job-creating businesses. His policies mean big government, less freedom, fewer jobs, and less wealth for everyone.

We can talk about all the cultural issues, but President Obama's takeover of our healthcare system and transformation of us into a government-centered society that destroys wealth rather than favors it are the issues that are crucial to the 2014 election. We have got to get this right.

Heritage Foundation is no more objective than the TPM.

Economic freedom, as you want it, would be a laizzez-faire system, which is unacceptable.

Yes, we know you hate freedom, Fake.

And for what it is worth, there is very little economic freedom in the USA. Income is stolen, currency is issued and vehemently enforced (not to mention deliberately destroyed) and monetary policy is set to favor the rampant corporatism in the US.

Saying we have economic freedom in the US, is like saying Saudi Arabia is a bastion in religious freedom.

Obama's big-government policies are destroying economic freedom. While we used to be a world leader (we still had problems, but were one of the top dogs in the world), Obama weakened our currency, added massive amounts of debt, weakened the rule of law with big-government, and increased taxes.

We've got to stop him.
