Syrian regime air strikes on Islamic State group stronghold Raqa killed at least 95 people as a government delegation held talks with key ally Russia Wednesday on relaunching peace negotiations.
The bombing on Tuesday was the deadliest by President Bashar al-Assad's air force in Raqa since Sunni extremist IS fighters seized control of the city last year and declared it their capital.
More than half of the dead were civilians, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the war through a network of sources.

Assad and his regime are "bad guys". The IS and its murderous, raving lunatic associated rebel groups are worse.

What is your bizarre obsession with Sally ?
Silly-Sally gets what she heatedly called for in her anit-Assad propaganda rants. If I were in your position, I would be freaked out having a Muslim troll following me around the forum
Many countries are accused of torture. It is quite absurd that you are permanently picking the so-called "Assad regime" out for your daily rant. Here comes Assad's head Public Relations guy in Germany. Whenever you see this ridiculous man post as if Assad and his gang wear haloes, remember to think to yourself "Rah, Rah, Rah, Siss Boom Bah" and forget that Assad and, of course, his father, have been responsible for the death and torture of many Syrian civilians. It's a shame that he isn't in Boston with Sunni Man in the same institution.. They can swap stories about how the Muslims, either Sunnis or Shiites, never killed their own people. Mr. Public Relations guy for Assad seems to forget that it is the Sunnis who are killing many in the Middle East as he hooks up here with Sunni Man.

However, this is only outclassed by the fact that it is just the power that you are blaming that protects us from one of the world´s biggest threat: The rise of the Islamist terrorism.

Remember, everyrone, it is Rah Rah Rah, Siss Boom Bah, when it comes to Assad and his gang. Assad's Public Relation Guy in Germany doesn't want to hear one derogatory thing about them. Meanwhile a search of this forum will show that I am not posting anything about Assad and his gang every day. Moreoever, an additional search will show that Assad's Public Relations guy is basically not interested at all in what is happening in the rest of the Arab Middle East. Mainly he is interested in one country, even though the Middle East contains a huge bit of territory and other things happen there.

(Reuters) - An American, a Briton and a South African were among several hostages Yemeni forces sought to free from al Qaeda this week, the defense ministry said on its website, describing a raid that a U.S. defense official said also involved U.S. special forces.

BEIRUT: The Yemeni and Syrian governments said eight Syrian technicians and a Yemeni engineer died Tuesday in a military plane crash in the southern Yemeni governorate of Lahj, according to reports.
But conflicting reports about the Syrians’ reason for being in Yemen have sparked a controversy, with Yemeni opposition sources telling the Yemen Times daily that the eight Syrians were in fact pilots who were recruited from Syria to assist embattled President Ali Abdallah Saleh in quelling a 10-month uprising against his rule.

Mr. Cheerleader had to drag himself out of bed to now give us some news about Yemen. What is it -- around 4 in the morning in Germany now? Meanwhile, up until now I don't think he had anything to say about Yemen even though a lot has been going on there. However, some Syrians happened to be involved, so now he had something to contribute about Yemen. As you can see, he didn't think it worthwhile to mention a story like the following....
