Seven local elementary school that have over 50% population of ELL students will be attending special summer classes paid for by taxpayers because their parent cannot prepare them for school. there is no guarantee that these children will become college students or will drop out and become gang members. American should be fed up with the non-enforcement of our immigration laws and the spending continues.

WCSD Launches Summer Academies at Seven Zoom Schools

In 2013, WCSD received state funding for a two-year pilot program to provide increased support to schools with high percentages of English Language Learner (ELL) students. The seven Zoom Schools include Anderson, Mathews, Corbett, Duncan, Loder, Sun Valley, and Veterans Memorial elementary schools. Approximately 650 students at these schools are attending a five-week summer session designed to provide additional support to achieve their academic goals.
