Riiiight....he invited the white cop who busted the black professor for breaking into what turned out to be his own house. Had them in for the "beer summit" and belittled the officer for doing his duty....the opening salvo of "hope and change" ie reverse-racism and the beginning of white cops getting murdered by the dozens. And let's not forget him saying the little gangster TrayGONE could have been his son. Some legacy, eh?

Objectively, he didn't exactly help. But to say his election didn't inspire a backlash is to ignore an ugly truth.
