Making an environment where jobs can be created
Keeping us from stupid wars
Lowering taxes....

All things that help the poor....

Honestly, what do you think things would be like if we had no social services to help the poor? I mean really think about it. Things have gotten worse because of stagnant wages and people losing their power to negotiate with employers because of share holders,etc.

The only things I agree with the republican party on are immigration and 2nd amendment issues. I agree with the democrat party when it comes to social issues (except perhaps the tranny bathroom fiasco).

Some people are poor because they have a disease. They got cancer or whatever, lost their job because they can no longer work, and have outrageous medical expenses.

That is hyperbole, because no one is stopping you from feeding the poor and giving them shelter or healthcare. The fact you may feel better spending someone else's money doing so, is something altogether different and disingenuous.
