When Dr. Anthony Fauci went to the Hill and told Congress.................."The system is not really geared to what we need right now," Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said in a House hearing about coronavirus test kits in the United States, which were initially dogged by technical glitches. "That is a failing. Let's admit it."...................it took courage. But it shouldn't have.
When those 17 witnesses went to the Hill to tell what they knew about the illegal scheme to extort Ukraine for the political benefit of the prez, and in so doing defied the order by the Obstructionist-in-Chief to stonewall the House inquiry, they were all being courageous. They put the country's need to know the truth over their own personal and professional interests............knowing retribution from President Petulance was coming......and for many of them it did.
At times simple acts of bravery are not as well publicized. They may be expressed by giving an anonymous interview with a member of the media about what is really going on inside the WH. Or refusing to participate in the corrupt, criminal, incompetent acts of this admin by ignoring instructions or resigning your position.
We should all be thankful these selfless people stepped up to do their part by rejecting the lies, the deceit, the attempts to keep the public from learning the truth or actively misinforming us by this admin. In their sometimes small, sometimes big ways these are American heroes. Their ranks have been systematically depleted by a prez intolerant of truth tellers. Dr. Fauci would be one of those if he was not recognized as one of the world's leading epidemiologists. But rest assured the Orange Fraud was livid when he learned Fauci had been truthful about Don's colossal failure to prepare the nation from the ravages of the c-virus.
People like Fauci, Vindman, Taylor, Hill, Cooper should be celebrated..........not vilified. In normal times they would be. These are not normal times. Never before has the truth been such a powerful enemy of the prez. Evidenced by how much time he spends distorting it, trying to hide it, and punishing those who tell it.
