More than 80 people died in a Pakistan terror attack last night – where exactly is the hashtag and the solidarity?
Saudi Arabia football team fail to line up for minute's silence in honour of London terror attack victims

Okay, so the Saudi football team went to play in Australia. Two Australians had been killed out of 8 people in London. The Saudis didn't bother to take part in the minute's silence. The world demanded outrage at this event. Everyone should have a minute's silence for those killed by terrorists in London because it was an abhorrent event.

Fast forward a few days.

"

Who cares? Which western football teams will be calling for a minutes silence? Will Scotland and England have a minute's silence for the EIGHTY, yes, 10 times more people died in Pakistan than London, people killed? No. They don't care. This even was not abhorrent enough for the westerners.

So why should 8 people being killed in London be abhorrent enough for Saudis to have a minute's silence?

The hypocrisy is there. If it happens in Paris, Brussels, London, Manchester, Madrid or in the US, EVERYONE must show their solidarity. If it happens in Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, then no one in the west has to give a shit, they don't even have to know it happened.

Why?

White people don't live there and they do that all the time, unlike Paris. And 10 people killed is a tragedy. 10,000 people killed is a statistic.

Yeah, exactly, hypocrisy.

Why would anyone care if mooselimbs kill their own people?

It's a net gain either way.

Just like no one gives a shit when faggots give each other AIDS.

'One of Us' is a fascinating read on the mind of a terrorist.

"We first kill people with our minds, before we kill them with weapons. Whatever the conflict, the enemy is always the destroyer. We're on God's side; they're barbaric. We're good, they're evil. War gives us a feeling of moral clarity that we lack at other times." Sam Keen

"Passionate hatred can give meaning and purpose to an empty life. Thus people haunted by the purposelessness of their lives try to find a new content not only by dedicating themselves to a holy cause but also by nursing a fanatical grievance." Eric Hoffer

So take a moment of silence for those that were killed. Why others don't is their choice and like another post pointed out in Pakistan it is a daily thing to die at the act of terrorism or better yet war.

I call it the "cowboy and injun effect". The Injuns were the bad guys, fighting for their homeland against genocide and ethnic cleansing, the cowboys are the good guys committing genocide and ethnic cleansing.

So why should 8 people killed in London in a terrorist attack merit the Saudis to have a moment of silence where 80 people killed in a Pakistan terrorist attack does not?

Fear, ignorance, bigotry, and hate – the unwarranted hostility toward Muslims and Islam propagated by far too many conservatives predicated on the lie that Islam is a ‘terrorist religion,’ that Islam ‘foments’ terrorism, and that all Muslims are ‘terrorists.’

Indeed, this sort of fear, ignorance, bigotry, and hate is the foundation of such hypocrisy.

If you really want to do something about terrorist attacks people from all countries should focus more on ways to actually stop them and less on symbolic acts that look good in the press and make the people doing feel good about themselves but otherwise do nothing about the problem.
