I am guess you think that anyone actually cares if they are capable of capitalizing the publicity. That is just silly.

Any of your right wingers ever heard of Stockholm Syndrome? This could very well explain if he coverted to Islam, etc. The thng is, we do not know what went on. It's all rumor and speculation at this point. The situation needs a full investigation, unbiased. And if warranted a trial. Then, if he is convicted, he will go to jail.
