EXCLUSIVE: Bergdahl declared jihad in captivity, secret documents show


U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl at one point during his captivity converted to Islam, fraternized openly with his captors and declared himself a "mujahid," or warrior for Islam, according to secret documents prepared on the basis of a purported eyewitness account and obtained by Fox News.

The reports indicate that Bergdahl's relations with his Haqqani captors morphed over time, from periods of hostility, where he was treated very much like a hostage, to periods where, as one source told Fox News, "he became much more of an accepted fellow" than is popularly understood. He even reportedly was allowed to carry a gun at times.

The documents show that Bergdahl at one point escaped his captors for five days and was kept, upon his re-capture, in a metal cage, like an animal. In addition, the reports detail discussions of prisoner swaps and other attempts at a negotiated resolution to the case that appear to have commenced as early as the fall of 2009.

Bowe Bergdolt has been exposed today of converting to Islam and becoming a Mujahid (Soldier of Islam) in 2010. I sincerely doubt if any books or movies will be made celebrating this turncoat SOB. His speaking engagements will be in front of a judge and jury. Free publicity......? He will get a ton of that and he ain't being paid a dime for that.

Speaking of movies I will be buying Lone Survivor on DVD this weekend the story of four men who did serve with Honor and Distinction.

I liked the book better than the movie, but the movie is excellent. We bought both for my father in law who is one of the original CCT guys in the Airforce.

Interesting. I was thinking of the Kardashians when I posted this thread. Unlike the Kardashians - the Bergdahls actually have a worthwhile product (story) to sell that many millions of people will want to hear and see. Plus, their story will continue to grow during the coming months.

Yes, some people will shell out money, interviews alone may make them money. I hope there is no attempt to do so any time soon(.)

As for Bowe Bergdahl - we don't have all the facts. We didn't walk in his shoes. His true story is yet to be heard...

He walked away from his compound and fellow soldiers died while searching for him.

It's quite simple isn't it. The why doesn't matter. And the Pentagon came to that conclusion in 2010.

The problem with some of these blowhards, is that they blow their wad too soon. OUTRAGE! OUTRAGE! OUTRAGE! before more concrete facts come to light. If they were smart and in the right, they would wait to see what more information reveals and wait until September to start freaking out.

FACT: The guy is a Soldier and part of our military.
FACT: We do pride in leaving none of our military men and women behind.
FACT: He is entitled to due process, that's what the UCMJ is for.

I do think that there should be an investigation and if he is in fact in the wrong, he should be prosecuted. Some of these fools have already convicted him in the court of public opinion and didn't even give him a chance to tell his side of the story. So much for their alleged "support for the troops"...............

PTSD can justify many crazy things. However, Bergdahl didn't go berserk and kill a bunch of his teammates like some have done.

And left all his weapons behind, walked away, IF he did, with nothing but his clothes, a compass, and maybe his canteen. An unusual "desertion".
