As was pointed out yesterday; the House is the one saying "Do this or else"...the Senate is not.
If the Senate sent a CR to the House saying the American people want universal background checks for gun purchases (and they do...http://www.usnews.com/news/articles...y-of-americans-nra-members-back-gun-control); pass it or we're going to shut down the government...would the right wing feel as happy about carrying out the will of the American people?
The blame is falling on squarely where it belongs; on the shoulders of the GOP leaders.
