To be fair, Cruz isn't alone in his Christian hypocrisy.
And this isn't to say Cruz was legally wrong to insist the individual serve 16 years for stealing a calculator.
What is does illustrate is the extremism common to most on the social right, the arrogance, the hubris, and the unwillingness to consider opposing views, opinions, and perspectives.
