After all the clamoring and complaining about Citizens United there was the IRS scandal, where the Obama Administration used the bureaucracy to harass conservative political groups and keep them out of the 2012 election. Not content with this they want to formalize that war and are proposing new regulations, which doubtless will have a disparate impact on conservative groups. Anyone think the Republic will be better off? This is very scary. This is how dictatorships start.

Those are the same rules that were stricken by the Citizens United ruling. You can't limit advertising in relation the timing of the election, that is a violation of the first amendment. The government can't say it's ok to run an add in August and not run it in November.
