House Panel Votes To Sue Obama

The worthless TeaBag congress now makes themselves a bigger joke -- as if that were possible.

A key House panel voted on Thursday to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Barack Obama for failing to faithfully implement Obamacare.

The House Rules Committee vote was 7 in favor, 4 against. All the Republicans voted for it; all the Democrats voted against it. It brings the resolution closer to full House vote, expected next week before Congress adjourns for a five-week summer recess.

"The president has repeated encroached on Congress's power to write the laws," said Rules Committee Chair Pete Sessions (R-TX). "Laws are not a mere list of suggestions from which a president can pick and choose."

The point is, you DON'T write laws, you just bicker like little children.

Well the lawyers will be the only happy ones, and those who don't understand this dog won't hunt like most here, yet again.

When did Obama or Congressional Dimorats ever allow the law to bet in the way of their agenda?

They did what they did because it doesn't require action by the Do-Nothing Senate run by Dingy Harry

they're hysterically funny... if they weren't screwing up the works.

And now they're on vacation.

Lazy Teabag fuckers.

The full "House" didn't vote. It was a "House Panel".

The House AND the Senate have Panels and Committees that conduct hearings and draft legislation, vote on Bills and such.

You should look into the American System of Government sometime, it's a real interesting read.

Democrat Controlled Senate.

Committees Home Page
Due to the high volume and complexity of its work, the Senate divides its tasks among 20 committees, 68 subcommittees, and 4 joint committees. Although the Senate committee system is similar to that of the House of Representatives, it has its own guidelines, within which each committee adopts its own rules. This creates considerable variation among the panels.

That's not all the idiots did.

Nutcase Steve Stockman (R, duh) (Tx, duh) actually got a bill passed preventing the Energy Dept from disapproving off shore drilling projects.

Except, of course, it's not the Energy Dept. that does that. d'oh!

Why Bachmann (sometimes) matters | MSNBC

A few weeks ago, Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) championed a proposal to prevent the Department of Energy from blocking approval of offshore-drilling permits. There was, however, a small problem: the Energy Department doesn’t regulate drilling. As Ben Geman explained, the Interior Department does. Stockman’s bill addressed an imaginary problem.

The punchline, of course, is that his bill passed, 218 to 204.

Explain, in detail, why they cannot legally do this.

That's what I thought.

Lazy Teabag fuckers.

You're quite a partisan shill.

They're fundraising which is just about all your Manchurian candidate Barry Soetoro ever does while crisis after crisis unfolds while he's knocking a stupid white ball around.

As matter of fact even the DEMOCRATS are at recess! Amazing how that works!

Speaking of vacations, isn't little Barry in Maaaaaatha's Vineyard taking his 50th plus tax payer paid vacation? That lazy monkey!

Comrade stupidfuck, of course they have the right to sue the criminal in the White House - this is STILL America, despite the assault by you of the Khmer Rouge.

Suing the scumbag gangsta Obama is a better choice than impeaching.

I'm aware that you are unfamiliar with any aspect of the law, but there is something in law known as "precedent."

No, I don't mean the guy you worship in DC; precedent is a decision or ruling that sets the rules for later decisions. The precedent for suing a sitting president was set under Bill Clinton. While the party will wail, the legal basis for bringing suit against Obama for his long list of criminal acts is well established. Yes, ThinkProgress will send forth you morons to spew idiocy - which will have no bearing at all on the case.

This is absolutely priceless: An O'Bama supporter complaining about some elected official doing what they cannot "legally" do.

And the funny part is he probably don't even know how stupid this is!
