then you cut the deals you need to with the major lobby groups to get their support. In other words pay them off at the expense of the voters.

I would expect that If Obamacare is repealed that policies will still be good for their contracted period. Many of the provisions would probably be phased out. It would not end all at once.

Actually, I don't see a problem at all in having people take the responsibility for purchasing and paying for their own health insurance.

You're talking out your ass about my insurance. I'm on Medicare as primary payer and Blue Cross Blue Shield as secondary payer. I have no out of pocket deductibles and zero co-pays. I pay only for my insurance and Medicare premiums and pay a greatly discounted cost for medical drugs.

Actually, I don't see a problem at all in having people take the responsibility for purchasing and paying for their own health insurance.

The problem for liberals is that it takes government out of the picture. If they can't be interfering in everyone's personal decisions on a daily basis, liberals just aren't happy.
