Trump has a less plausible argument for recount than Gore did. There is only the tiniest chance that SCOTUS inserts itself unnecessarily into the process.

The Justice Alito already calling for segregation of ballots. Then the next step would be to segregate the illegal to legal ones.

The fact that Biden won in AZ and NV makes PA a moot point. Likely the high court takes itself seriously enough to rule as such.

After all, many of the justices may have to rule on future elections, and they are very careful what precidents they set now may bind them in the future.

He can not win the electoral college vote to 270 without winning Pennsylvania, so maybe if he does that one first.... then if PA changes and he miraculously wins, which he likely won't, he'll only have that cost of the PA recount on his shoulders?

Once these states go through the checks to reach the certification process for their vote count, any irregularities will be rooted out, and corrections to their counts will be made.... the recount likely won't be needed...imo.

That appears to be Trumps plan all along. That is why in speech after speech he told followers to vote in person.

He wanted to leave Election Night with the lead. He declared victory on Election Night. Republicans in Pennsylvania State House blocked attempts to count mail in votes early. Now, Trump wants votes tabulated after Election Day thrown out.

Because it turned out not to be the voting machine, those counts were 100% accurate....it turned out to be a program used to transfer the voting machine count, over to the county computers, which the clerk failed to update the program.

It was immediately caught in their check and balances of election management and security....the town counts did not add up and match the county count.

It truly was not a big deal, and shows their system works.

The Department of State said human error by the clerk in updating software, not related to the counting, was the problem.

Oops, missed your Georgia comment. YES, Georgia was close and they will do the recount.... not because votes would change enough for Trump to win....

But because if the recount changes ever so slightly on their Senator races, and bring the republican senator wins, over that 50% threshold then there would not have to be a runoff election in January.... It's worth a try...a shot...imo.
