"There it was, an old term with new urgency: post-Christian. This is not to say that the Christian God is dead, but that he is less of a force in American politics and culture than at any other time in recent memory. To the surprise of liberals who fear the advent of an evangelical theocracy and to the dismay of religious conservatives who long to see their faith more fully expressed in public life, Christians are now making up a declining percentage of the American population." :eusa_whistle:

Self-reported Christians are down: From 1948 to 2008, the self-reported Christian population of America fell from 92% to 78% and the nonreligious population rose from two percent to between thirteen and fifteen percent. Nonbelievers have mostly come from the ranks of Christian defectors.

I went door to door with an elder at church to do some evangelism and since I've been to a lot of churches, I recognized some Christians who do not report themselves!

Is that Common Core math? :dunno:

God does not need a very large army, Guno. Gideon and his men were a company of 300 yet they prevailed against the enemy. What God needs in Believers are those who obey Him and are led by His Spirit. A people who are fully surrendered to do His Will. ( not their own )

It's prophesied. Muslims are about to be a co-partner with the UN. They'll invade Israel. They'll lose.
Christ, as in Christianity, will return to make sure they lose, and will set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem. He is the winner. His words will never cease to exist.

That being written, I wonder why we bother to go through it all? We probably should just say, "Oh well, the outcome is forgone. Forgetaboutit...."

The number of Muslims in the U.S. is rising due to a combination of immigration and a higher birth rate.
In several generations, the U.S. may well become the Islamic States of America, with non-Muslims being persecuted and wiped out.

I am also somewhat confused by this, since Muslims did not exist when any of the books in the Bible were written..... just who, specifically, prophesized this?

Don't be so sure.
When 9-11 occurred, the church was packed and everyone came to church.
Revival can occur for any reason.
