The Democratic Party used to be the party of the little guy so to speak. Nowadays, however, not only is that not the case, but even the phrase "little guy" is sizist and sexist and cannot be used for being "insensitive." The last time the Dems had an inspiring President was John Kennedy. Remember the phrase, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." If Kennedy, used that phrase today, Dems would scratch their head and respond WE SHOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THE TOP 1% STOLE EVERYTHING AND LIKE WHITE MALES HAVE KEPT WOMEN AND BLACKS DOWN AND WALL STREET FORCED PEOPLE AT GUNPOINT TO TAKE BAD LOANS, AND CHRISTIANS WANT PEOPLE TO TREAT YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. HOW CAN I POSSIBLY BE SUCCESSFUL WITH ALL THESE EVIL FORCES WORKING AGAINST ME!!!!!
What the HELL is wrong with some of you??? The govt has bent over backwards for almost 50 years to try and right some historical wrongs and instead of people being happy, most dems are more paranoid then ever at a time when opportunities have never been better. Dems hate the rich, they hate mainstream culture, they hate capitalism, they hate cause and effect, they hate winners, they hate white guys, they hate free trade, they hate profit, they hate the constitution, they hate the color beige.... You name it, they hate it. All this after extensive efforts to help people.... Good grief!!
STOP using the Democratic Party as some sort of get out of jail card free card in which you can blame anything that is not perfect on the "oppressive" society at large. My guess is there are two main reasons for the destruction of the Democratic Party. First, it's probably human nature, that when unearned things are given to someone, they become spoiled. If you give your kid a boatload of presents, when they haven't been good kids or studious kids or at least shown some positive traits, they become spoiled and disconnected from the cause and effect in the world. When half the country doesn't pay taxes and citizens expects all kinds of goodies from the govt, you have an entitlement society which no longer values cause and effect, hard work, and achievement.
The second force that has made the Democratic Party impossible to embrace, is the constant minting of new victims. The Civil Rights movement and Feminist movement were supposed to be about equality. Sadly, they have mutated into movements which demonize whites, and white males in particular. Ever hear the phrase, "Celebrate Diversity!" What it really means is all those white guys are the same!! Think about it. A govt report states there is not enough diversity in an office. So if an all white male office has a Mormon, a Jew, a Christian, an Atheist, a gay, and a communist, they all think the same way??? Yeah, you know how those white guys are, they are EXACTLY the same... Isn't that what racists used to say about black people??? All THOSE people are the same? Didn't Hitler demonize Jews as all of THOSE people?? Why does the Democratic Party want to embrace this hideous and dangerous stereotyping???
And it naturally follows in the Civil Rights-pushed-overly-sensitive-environment, that if you disagree with the president, then you're a racist!! This is the kind of thinking the civil rights movement has degenerated into. No one is allowed to disagree with a Democratic black guy. Of course you can demonize a black conservative because they are not down with the cause. TRANSLATION - Smear and destroy anyone who disagrees with Democrats. Isn't this a way to quell political dissent? Didn't Stalin shut down dissent by killing 20 million Russians? Didn't Mao kill 30 million Chinese because they disagreed with him and he had to demonize the opposition as evil?
Where does that all lead us to today?? We have a catastrophic debt, which, if not addressed, will destroy this country. Too many citizens don't seem to care as long as they get theirs... Every world power has a fall, and the Democratic Party, with its corrosive effect on unity, productivity, and work ethic is really a symptom of the end of the United States as a highly successful country.
