The fraud of wind power

Let's take a moment to thank the Dems for the government regulation requiring the coal plants to use those good quality scrubbers. Regulations, I believe Trump wanted to end.
No, Trump didn't want to do that. Where do you come up with this crap? Or did you invent that lie yourself?
Maybe you should do your homework before you accuse others of lying. Link

Your link talks about CO2 emissions, NOT actual pollutions particles that "Scrubbers" are rightfully designed for.

Speaking before an audience that included coal miners wearing reflective shirts and hard hats, EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler criticized the Obama policy, which required states to meet targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions from power plants and aimed to reduce US power sector emissions 32 percent below 2005 levels by 2030.

The EPA is still required to regulate greenhouse gases, but the CPP’s new replacement, the Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule, is drastically weaker. The ACE rule would lower power sector emissions by 11 million tons by 2030, or between 0.7 percent and 1.5 percent. The EPA noted that long-term industry trends are expected to still push emissions down 35 percent, but that’s largely independent of the ACE rule.

The Obama idiots classified CO2 as a pollutant is galaxy class stupidity, it is an essential gas for Photosynthesis process and promotes Radiative cooling from the planet, which is a double edged sword.

CO2 does not promote radiative cooling, in fact it has the opposite effect. That is why it is considered a greenhouse gas. It is something necessary in small amounts but dangerous in larger ones.

NASA thinks it is a radiative cooling gas:

Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats,” explains James Russell of Hampton University, SABER’s principal investigator. “When the upper atmosphere (or ‘thermosphere’) heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space.”

That’s what happened on March 8th when a coronal mass ejection (CME) propelled in our direction by an X5-class solar flare hit Earth’s magnetic field. (On the “Richter Scale of Solar Flares,” X-class flares are the most powerful kind.) Energetic particles rained down on the upper atmosphere, depositing their energy where they hit. The action produced spectacular auroras around the poles and significant1 upper atmospheric heating all around the globe.

“The thermosphere lit up like a Christmas tree,” says Russell. “It began to glow intensely at infrared wavelengths as the thermostat effect kicked in.”

For the three day period, March 8th through 10th, the thermosphere absorbed 26 billion kWh of energy. Infrared radiation from CO2 and NO, the two most efficient coolants in the thermosphere, re-radiated 95% of that total back into space.

What If There Was No Greenhouse Effect?

First, the big picture: The Earth surface is warmed by sunlight, and the surface and atmosphere together cool by infrared radiation back to outer space. And just as a pot of water warming on the stove will stop warming when the rate of energy gained by the pot from the stove equals the rate of energy loss by the pot to its surroundings, an initially cold Earth would stop warming when the rate at which solar energy is absorbed equals the rate at which infrared energy is lost by the whole Earth-atmosphere system to space.

olfraud and Co. love to tell us how great windpower is, but here are 90 turbines being removed. Far short of their 20 year life expectancy. Some asshole got rich, and the taxpayers paid for it.

Exactly right......but its "assholes" getting rich. A few smart entrepreneur's making hay on a niche market. And good for them I say......as long as moving forward, the regular joes like us dont get fleeced with taxes up the ying-yang with his the ONLY way renewable energy stands any chance.

Because, you see, costs matter to most.........not at all to the few meathheads in here who despise their own country and want like hell for everybody else to be as fcuking miserable as they are. Germany and Spain are perfect examples of the public getting fleeced based upon tall tales told by a very small club.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas, you seem unclear as to what that means.
The major threat from increased CO2 is the greenhouse effect. As a greenhouse gas, excessive CO2 creates a cover that traps the sun's heat energy in the atmospheric bubble, warming the planet and the oceans. An increase in CO2 plays havoc with the Earth's climates by causing changes in weather patterns.

You are too stupid to understand what I am talking about, of course CO2 absorbs some of the outgoing LWR, but you ignored all three of my links completely that shows CO2 is RADIATING away the energy into space, that is a clear description of a radiative cooling gas.

You ignored this quote from NASA: “Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats,” explains James Russell of Hampton University, SABER’s principal investigator. “When the upper atmosphere (or ‘thermosphere’) heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space.”

and,

You idiotically write:

Note that some portion of the reflected energy is prevented from radiating to space.

Man your ignorance is scary, CO2 doesn't stop anything, it slows down SOME of the OLWR, that is all. There is NO "trapping (propaganda for science illiterates like you to suck up) of energy and CO2 doesn't generate any heat by itself.

It is a wonder how well you parade your science illiteracy and stupidity, you must practice a lot.

A true Greenhouse traps CONVECTION, IR zooms right out of there which shows CO2 doesn't trap anything and isn't a source of energy either.

You seem to be intellectually challenged. Yes, CO2 is a GHG. So what. It is in such vanishing small amounts that the climatologists have had to invent "forcings" as a way to increase CO2's vanishing small effect.

Water vapor is THE dominant GHG in our atmosphere. It is what regulates our temp. Not an infinitesimal amount of CO2.

Poor alang doesn't even understand what he's looking at.
It's their handling of water vapor/clouds where the IPCC makes their biggest error. They have convinced themselves that increased water vapor creates a positive feedback rather than a negative feedback. There's no empirical evidence for a positive feedback. And their failed forecasts should have given them pause for concern.

Common sense says that when the planet becomes warmer and wetter water vapor acts to cool the planet despite it being the dominant GHG. I think water vapor/clouds serve as a regulator of sorts. Maybe the latest research will change their mind.

That is a low resolution chart, I will post better ones tomorrow and high resolution data showing their true IR absorption Bandwidths.

There you will see that CO2 absorbs a very small part of the OLWR (Terrestrial) and that the remaining IR window (around 95%) has ZERO CO2 effect in it.

CO2 is a trace GHG, with a trace IR absorption window with low "back radiation" values.

Note that some portion of the reflected energy is prevented from radiating to space.

How about a picture instead...

But that one has the total atmosphere. So it's easy to see how water vapor dominates the total atmosphere.

I've been using wind power exclusively to cool my home during this past heat wave ... just like the Commie Chinese want me to ... did the Nazi thing by ... you know ... opening my windows when it was cool outside ...

If wind/solar doesn't make financial sense where you live ... don't bother ... but if it does make sense, do the Capitalist thing and install ... save some money ...

If Renewables Are So Cheap Why Is Germany’s Electricity So Expensive?

Renewable energy advocates like to say we should be a lot more like Germany when it comes to generating more electricity from wind and solar. This argument often goes like this: “Wind and solar are already less expensive than fossil fuels, and greedy corporations are the only reason we don’t have a clean energy revolution!!!”
