If Americans took the time to fact check what Repubs said trump would be widely regarded as the pathological liar he is and thus not considered to be a serious candidate for dog catcher.

You know what people who've been won over by Trump have been programmed to believe? "THEY ALL LIE".

My response to them is yea but not like Trump. He uses the fact "they all lie" to lie constantly. He uses the argument "they're all corrupt" to be corrupt.

My one buddy yesterday was trying real hard to say stupid shit that was intended to win me over to Trump's side. I just kept intelligently explaining to him how what he is saying is bs. That's when the COMMUNISM comment came out. As if he knows what he's talking about. THEN, he says something like "oh well, I guess if Kamala wins we'll just have a civil war".

Not realizing that it's only if Trump wins will we possibly have one of those. Because he will act like he's above the law and encourage police brutality against his fellow felons. He will let insurrectionists out early and they will be angry. He will go after his political rivals with witch hunts.

Did you hear quietly the GOP impeachment hearings against Biden ended yesterday? Republicans are still insisting that Hunter calling his dad and putting him on speaker phone was illegal. LOL.

Today's internet age has given Americans a view into the way other countries operate. They see the countries of Europe with their high taxes and government benefits to the masses, and see hundreds of millions of better educated, healthier, happier people than in America. Communist countries such as China and Viet Nam have economies that have proven reasonably stable, with qualities of life far above the 3rd world standards of the past. Mention socialism to those under 40, with little or no memory of the cold war, and it barely rates a shrug. Right wing predictions of America turning into a socialist hellhole during the Clinton, Obama, and Biden administrations never materialized. Sorry Republicans, you'll have to find another scare tactic. This one isn't scary anymore.

They are not "on his side".

They are conservatives who try to adhere to the principles of the Constitution.

They would never advocate anything abusive on his part.

In fact, it is Adam Schiffhead and Max Waters that screwed the pooch when it came to impeachment.

The problem for the gop is that this attack on Harris/Walz convinces .... no one who is not maga. And the Old Weird Guy and his mini me need every vote from the shrinking number of undecided. BECAUSE generally, post-convention polls don't change that much. Hillary was already tanking when the 2016 convention took place.
