The Gospel According to John

9
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 And Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is still day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7 And said unto him, Go wash in the pool of Si-lo'-am, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is this not he that sat and begged?
9 Some said, This is he: others said, he is like him: but he said, I am he.
10 Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?
11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Si-lo'-am, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received my sight.

-John 9: 1-11

13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. 14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. 15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. 16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

- John 9: 13-16

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

- John 1: 29-34
32 clearly states that John saw the Holy Ghost descend. Exactly how is Jesus and the Holy ghost one when they both exist separate from one another?

3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nic-o-de'-mus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven.
4 Nic-o-de'-mus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nic-o-de'-mus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I had told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

-John 3:1-21
And here we have Jesus reminding everyone he is NOT God but rather his son.,

Through out John Jesus informs us he is not God, that his power comes from God not himself. That he is not God but his son.

False teachings are not acceptable. It is a false belief that the trinity is reality. In fact you are violating Gods law and Jesus law by worshiping Jesus as the Father.

Jesus is God, Sarge. I have a great respect for you and believe you do love God as best you know to love him, you always speak up for the LORD and desire to defend the truth as you believe the truth to be - but I am praying that the LORD will reveal to you that it is alright to say anyone who has seen the Son has seen the Father. As Thomas said, My Lord and My God - but when did Thomas say this to Jesus? When He knew Jesus was LORD and Jesus was God. Again I have the greatest respect for you and appreciate your heart for God - I believe you truly do love God. I also thank God for you that you served honorably in our military and put your life on the line for all of us. You are a man that I do respect very much.

The Word came in the flesh to save that which was lost in the garden, Sarge. See John 1:14. This is why Jesus is referred to as the second Adam. Jesus tells us throughout the book of John that He is God. Beginning in John 1: 1 and then throughout...... He also reveals to us that He and the Holy Spirit are one in the Book of John - if you will read through the scriptures here you will see that.

And here we have Jesus reminding everyone he is NOT God but rather his son.,

You ask how can Jesus be one with the Father and the Holy Spirit? Even as the Son of man spoke he said he was in heaven - see John 3: 13 that you have just quoted, Sarge.

It is written:

And no man ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3: 13

How did Jesus standing in front of Nicodemus say he was in heaven at the same time? He is God, Sarge. Jesus is God! Receive the truth and let Him set you free! Jesus is God!

Again in John 5: 39 we see Jesus saying this......

it is written:

Search the scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life and they are they which speak of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. - John 5: 39

How could the scriptures be speaking of Jesus Christ if He were not God? It is impossible. Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is LORD. Thomas even said, My Lord and My God, Sarge. Jesus did not correct him. Rather he told him blessed are those who have not seen Him and believe. Will you believe without seeing Him? I already have. Will you? Here the scriptures confirm who Jesus is YET AGAIN!

and again Jesus said this...........

it is written:

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father, there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me, for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

- John 5: 45, 46,47

You see, Sarge, when Moses wrote about God? He was writing about Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is LORD. You are going to have to lay down the teachings of man and realize the Word of God is the final authority. Not Brigham Young, Not Mary Baker Eddy, not Mohammad, not Buddah - No. Jesus Christ is the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us - John 1: 14. The beginning of John tells us that Jesus Christ is God. Read John 1:1, Sarge. Jesus Christ is God. The entire book of John reveals Jesus Christ as God!

We begin today with John 9: 17

17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

- John 9:17, 18

19 And they asked them, saying, is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he see?
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not; he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore, said his parents, he is of age; ask him.

-John 9: 19,20,21,22,23

24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? How opened he thine eyes?
27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would you hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
28 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses disciples.
29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not whence he is.
30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he hath opened my eyes.
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners; but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one who was born blind.
33 If this man were not of God he could do nothing.

- John 9:24-33

34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

- John 9:34

35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh to thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

-John 9: 35,36,37,38
