Embattled Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who is facing congressional outcry and calls to resign over security lapses leading to former President Donald Trump’s near-assassination Saturday, landed her role thanks largely to a close relationship with first lady Jill Biden, The Post has learned...

...Four sources close to President Biden’s family, including people who interacted with Cheatle during the Obama-Biden administration, said she was well liked by the future first lady and her most senior aides, including top adviser Anthony Bernal.

“Cheatle served on Dr. Biden’s second lady detail and Anthony pushed for her,” a Democratic insider told The Post. “Anthony has no national security or law enforcement experience. He should have no influence over the selection of the USSS director.”

“I heard at the time she was being considered for director that Anthony had pushed her forward as an option,” another well-placed source told The Post.

I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how a kid barely out of high school with no known political or social grievances ever witnessed by all that knew him, no record, no crimes, drives an hour to a Trump rally with an AR rifle, climbs onto the roof of a building just outside the event, and that roof just happens to not only be accessible and available to him, but no one in the security attachment has secured it or is even watching it until Trump is nearly killed despite a bunch of people there all yelling to the police and SS for a minute and a half: "Hey look at that guy on that roof with a rifle!!!"

I just wonder how a kid working a lowly job at a nursing home drives an hour to a rally with a rifle he has no intention of going into, just happens to find a nearly building outside the event, which just happens to be unsupervised, unlocked, with free access to the roof on private property with no one stopping him, which just happens to not be secured by the secret service or watched by them, and the security just happens to ignore 90 seconds of pleading by the attendees there to look at the guy on that roof with a rifle?

Then once Trump is nearly killed (and at that time, everyone there had every reason to think Trump might have already really been hit by one or more bullets, THEN they nail the guy with a head shot, forever ending any possibility of anyone ever interrogating him to hear his side?

Oh yeah, his phone, his house and all his social media have now all been scrubbed clean. And the person in charge of it all was hired by Jill Biden???

Well it wasn't a safety concern for the shooter to get up there and it was most definitely a safety concern for the president of whom they were supposed to protect but still got shot.

So jumping in front of a bullet? That's fine. But being on a roof with a slope in order to cover the president? Nope can't do that.

But she is a Biden administration pick so what do you expect? He puts fags in charge of transportation and nuclear materials. Puts a dude in a dress that pretends to be a female general talking about how tranny kids need to be protected. His failure diversity hire as a vice president and the list goes on and on and on.

If a bunch of Mexican roofers can run allover a steep house roof all day, I think 1 or 2 highly trained secret service agents can handle sitting on slope for a hours.
