The Myth of Sanders’ Socialism

Yea how dare people refer to Bernard Sanders as exactly what he labels himself:

It's not a fucking myth. Get lost dumbass OP.

Fuck off.

Yea fuck you. You can't defend your own fucking thread. Go suck a big dick, make butt plug happy.

Defend? Idiots like you can’t debate. You post in my thread attacking me. You offer nothing. So again, FUCK OFF.

Yea mother fucker. I showed a FUCKING VIDEO of Bernard CALLING HIMSELF A FUCKING SOCIALIST and of course you can't defend it so you attack me.

Fuck you you stupid son of a bitch.

Didn’t watch the video. Don’t care either.

If you think Bernie as potus, could take government control of all means of production in the USA, this is socialism btw, you’re dumber than you look. You needn’t fear that, since he hasn’t proposed that. Stop believing right wing propaganda.

Why do you support socialism for the extreme wealthy, but not for the poor and working class?

He wasn’t? He took power by force? How do you know if the election was decided by a popular vote that more people in blue states would not vote for him?

The same way I know if we had a popular vote, more people in red states wouldn't have voted for Hillary.

The reality was- because the polls showed "Hillary had this in the bag", a lot of people stayed home.

Now, if we had a sensible system, popular vote.

Hillary gets 48%
Trump gets 46%
Dope Smoking Gary gets 3%
Commie Jill Stein gets 2%

We have a runoff election. Hillary gets 50%+1, done.

You beggars need to spend some time at the drawing board really thinking this all through...Remember, selling the notion of shameless begging to lowlife degenerates is simple for obvious reasons...but you need in my wallet...not theirs. Sell me on why I should be required to pave and pay your way...why should I take care of your children? Give it to me...GO!

because that kid might be the one operating on you one day, or designing the bridge you have to drive across.

Well, I think the difference now is that the Democrats, knowing that the word "socialism" doesn't scare people like it used to, are more likely to defend it (within its own definitions of the word) and toss the word out with less fear. And they're doing a very good job of it.

At the same time, the Republicans somehow don't yet realize that the term is scaring fewer people, and they still seem to think that all they have to do is scream SOCIALISM VENEZUELA AAAUUUGGGHHH and that will be enough. I don't think so. Not any more.

Except Bernie is pretty much collapsing with Democratic voters, so maybe saying "Socialism Aaauuuggghhh" was enough.

Does it hurt to be wrong so often?

^^^^ The establishment speaks through Joe.

He really thinks Putin can and does impact our elections, just like Hillary. LMFAO.

You broad brush it. I, Azog, have great healthcare for me and my family. Many do not so You’re saying I should sacrifice for the greater good. OK, then answer my question.

Okay, I think we are seeing that now with the Corona Virus. We have outbreaks in poor areas and nursing homes, that are starting to spread to more affluent areas. So, yeah, you'll get better treatment when the pandemic breaks out, but you wouldn't be in a vulnerable situation if this had been arrested and controlled.

Covid-19 is Trump's Katrina.

Let's get realistic, buddy. Commie Bernie isn't as popular this year as he was in 2016. He's getting a LOT less votes and it's pretty clear he's collapsing rapidly.

Which makes you wonder, was his support in 2016 really people embracing "Socialism" or was it folks just didn't like Hillary Clinton?

I think what is telling is that Liz Warren pretty much espoused the same philosophy as Commie Bernie did, but she never got any traction. Maybe that week after Commie Bernie had the heart attack and looked like he'd be pushing up the daisies.

So was it a love for socialism or a bit of misogyny? Probably the latter.

Anyone who refers to Bernie as commie Bernie, has exposed themselves as a fool. Stop it joe. It’s not good.

Does that include Commie Bernie himself?

Bernie Sanders in 1972: 'I don't mind people calling me a communist'

In 1972, Sanders, then a gubernatorial protest candidate for the socialist Liberty Union Party, visited an alternative high school in Rutland, Vermont, to give his campaign pitch. During a question-and-answer session, Sanders, then 31, brushed off accusations of being a left-wing radical.

"I don't mind people coming up and calling me a communist," Sanders said. "At least, they're still alive."

You cannot just change the rules because the result didn’t go your way.

Except it started in China. Do you want us to pay for their UH too?

It is a sad statement on the level of ignorance in this country that anyone could take seriously the charge that Sanders is a socialist.
There are no billionaires in the Socialist Workers Party?

This is true. I'd say communist is more accurate.

"You don’t necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants when children are hungry in this country," Sanders told John Harwood of NBC

In 1980 he was an “elector” in the Socialist Workers Party (founded by communists expelled from Russia for supporting Leon Trotsky).

He supported and campaigned for the communist SWP and maintained a close relationship with its senior members. While Democrats campaigned for President Jimmy Carter in 1980 and Walter Mondale in 1984, Sanders spent the Reagan era supporting fringe Marxists with no chance of reaching the White House.

During Pulley's White House run in 1980, he called for the abolition of the U.S. military and the nationalization of "virtually all private industry," as well as the abolition of the military budget and the establishment of "official ... 'solidarity' with the revolutionary regimes in Iran, Nicaragua, Grenada and Cuba," according to a New York Times report at the time.

During that same campaign, Pulley hailed the Cuban revolution as a model for the U.S. and claimed that "racism [had] been abolished" on the island. His running mate, Matilde Zimmermann, described the contention that Cubans lived under a dictatorship as American "propaganda."

"At a time when the Democratic and Republican parties are intellectually and spiritually bankrupt, it is imperative for radical voices to be heard which offer fundamental alternatives to capitalist ideology. I wish Mel Mason good luck on his campaign," Sanders wrote in a letter to the Militant in January 1984.

In the same issue, the newspaper's editorial board called for the "nationalization of the steel industry," as part of a required "revolutionary struggle by workers to form" a new government.

In 1984, Sanders was thanked by the party for his remarks at a 1984 SWP campaign kickoff. "On behalf of Mel Mason and Andrea Gonzàlez, I want to thank you for your message to the rally to kick off the Socialist Workers Presidential Campaign," reads a letter kept in the Sanders archives.
Ancient history. Stop being a dupe of the billionaires.
there are no billionaires in Bernie’s Socialist workers party!

Lenin: “ The goal of socialism is communism.”

True ignorance is common in the land of the (not) free. The billionaire’s media sees to that. This is yet another perfect example. This myth is believed by many on the right and left. The 1% who run everything don’t much like Bernie, so their media makes sure to dupe millions into thinking as they do.

The Myth of Sanders’ “Socialism”

Fox News has an all-out frontal assault on Bernie Sanders’ purported “socialism.” It is a sad statement on the level of ignorance in this country that anyone could take seriously the charge that Sanders is a socialist. What Sanders is advocating is something approaching the social-welfare systems of other economically developed countries and that’s a far cry from the socialism Fox News is using as a boogeyman to frighten conservatives. The “socialism” Fox is decrying is the old-fashioned Stalinist-Maoist kind where all important industries are nationalized, most of the private property of the wealthy is seized by the state, and there are no such things as individual rights and freedoms because the very idea of “individuals” is considered capitalist propaganda.

I guess you can't read and you are deaf.
Bernie has been calling himself a "Socialist' for fucking decades.
He jerks off watching films of Castro.

Sooooo, we're supposed to ignore the 50 plus years of him espousing and supporting dictators and fascists.

Is that what you are saying?
Hell our government whether lead by a D or an R has supported lots of dictators. Still does. FDR initially thought Hitler and Mussolini were great.

Sanders is a candidate NOW, and he has never denounced a single dictator. In fact he still supports them, even after they are dead.

Face it. Sanders is a Marxist socialist. We have 50 years of him telling us he is.
Yeah and Obama was born in Kenya.

Deflecting to derail your retarded OP I see. Typical progressive loser.
