Communism quite literally is the act of surrendering your entire person to the government on the premise (promise) that after the totalitarian Party has taken away your freedom and private property for some amount of time, for the "good" of everyone, said freedom will be handed back to you as a citizen in abundance and equality never before seen in human history . . . a utopia. The problem? To date no nation which has converted to communism has gotten itself out of the totalitarian control of its People phase. In fact, democide (government murdering its own people) on a mass scale to "protect" the Party has been the commonest result of communism for the every man. My guess is me and my folks are not outliers. My wife who never voted before will vote for the first time in 2020 for Trump. The message of the Prog Left and their PC crap is turning away many. Even the prominent Democrat, Bill Maher agrees.

1. Colleges around the country promote Progressivism/Collectivism/communism/Socialism/etc., around the country.

2. Government takes over student loan industry as they lower interest rates so that students can afford larger loans so that tuition rates can continue to explode even during economic down turns. The government also makes getting out of paying student loans virtually impossible, like a noose around their necks for the rest of their lives.

3. Government knows that this is a bubble since they can only make interest rates so low and for a small amount of time, so they toy with the idea of "free" college as Colleges are enriched by the massive debt of the entire country.

4. Wait for the country to implode economically.

The right has abandoned the principal of liberty, and no longer holds the high ground of principled governance. They now only offer an alternative version of authoritarianism.

You have posted to me several times now about my opinion that the Right is making it easier for the Left to advance socialism, etc. Correct?

Not one time have you asked me how. You're not curious enough to even ask such an obvious question.

This problem permeates political discussion in this country. Everyone is attacking and spinning, no one is curious to hear something outside of their ideological bubble. No one is listening.
