The Police Endorse a Convicted Felon

This is about American police supporting a convicted felon.
The Progs are toying with eliminating police. The Repulicans profess law and order. I would push the police using common sense and let the mundane take care of itself and not escalate. Turning people into criminals is not good. Gulty until proven innocent is not good. There are people who live on areas who just stop voting for it may not really make a difference and voting for oppression is suicide.

You don't know what you're talking about. On J6, the mayor had no control over the DCNG. Pelosi had no control over the DCNG. Trump did. Trump was the Commander-in-Chief of the DCNG. He had control of them, as did his Army Secretary, McCarthy, at that time.

And it was not too late to mobilize them. In fact, the DCNG first arrived at 5pm. It ended up being a joint effort by the USCP, the DC metropolitan police and the DC National Guard who established a perimeter on the west end of the Capitol to secure it. They should have been deployed earlier except the Commander-in-Chief was too busy mentally masturbating over the support his thugs were providing him by storming the Capitol.
1. Trump and Sund both requested the NG well before J6. Both requests were denied. See post #65 for documentation.

2. Pelosi took responsibility for denying the National Guard request in a video. Case closed.

How so? For the first time in American history a jury was instructed that they didn't need to reach a unanimous decision, nor did they need to name a specific underlying crime.

You are simply full of shit.

Damn, more lies. :eusa_liar:

All 12 members had to reach a unanimous decision that an underlying crime had been committed.

Your verdict, on each count you consider, whether guilty or not guilty, must be unanimous; that is, each and every juror must agree to it.
And yes, they had to name a specific crime. The prosecution showed evidence during the trial that Trump covered up 3 different crimes:

  • THE FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN ACT
  • FALSIFICATION OF OTHER BUSINESS RECORDS
  • VIOLATION OF TAX LAWS

To be convicted of NY § 175.10, Trump had to cover up a crime. He covered up three. Only one was needed for a conviction. It didn't matter which. What the jury did not have to be unanimous on which of the 3 crimes were the "unlawful means" element of NY § 17.152...

Jury Instructions

Although you must conclude unanimously that the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you need not be unanimous as to what those unlawful means were.

In determining whether the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you may consider the following: (1) violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act otherwise known as FECA; (2) the falsification of other business records; or (3) violation of tax laws.

It's mr., and unfortunately for Trump, he was found guilty on the evidence. He's not innocent. Also unfortunately for him, even if he becomes president, he can't escape the law on state charges.
He was found guilty by a jury of leftist pukes like yourself!

1. Trump and Sund both requested the NG well before J6. Both requests were denied. See post #65 for documentation.

Trump only said that in a meeting which included Miller and Patel. Patel had no authority no request DCNG. Neither did Miller, but Miller's boss, McCarthy, did. But Miller didn't take Trump seriously nor did he want to have anything to with a military presence at the Capitol...

According to his testimony, Acting Secretary Miller’s express first priority—after being installed with just two months left in the Trump administration—was “to make every effort to return the Department of Defense to a nonpoliticized entity,” because previously, “the Department was being showcased too much.” In testimony to the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform on May 12, 2021, he cited “fears that the President would invoke the Insurrection Act to politicize the military in an antidemocratic manner” as shaping his thinking. “No such thing was going to occur on my watch,” he wrote, later adding that “if I would have put troops on Capitol Hill” before the attack and without a request from civil authorities, “that would have been seen as extremely provocative, if not supporting this crazy narrative that the military was going to try to overturn the election.”

2. Pelosi took responsibility for denying the National Guard request in a video. Case closed.

Nope, case is not closed. The House Speaker is not in charge of Capitol Security. She said she took responsibility for not getting Trump to deploy the DCNG but that she never dreamed the POTUS would insight a riot at the Capitol.

Using your info, Miller was ordered by Trump to call out the DC NG but declined unless there was a request from civilian authorities, like Nancy Pelosi or Capitol Police Chief Sund. Sund did request the DC NG, but Pelosi's direct report, Sgt. at Arms Irving, as per Pelosi's policy denied Sund's request. No matter how you slice it, Trump and Sund requested the NG, Miller wanted civilian confirmation to deploy the NG, but Pelosi blocked it. Nancy is not in charge of the NG, but she blocked the request to Miller, she should take responsibility for the J6 riot, the Speaker is responsible for Capitol security.
Kash Patel requested DC Mayor Bowser request the DC NG since he knows that activation requires a "civilian" request.

Here is a link to Mayor Bowser's reply to Kash saying that Trump's request for the DC NG is denied:

Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser sent a letter to Acting United States Attorney General Jeffery Rosen, Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy, and Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller explaining that Capitol Police were ready for the First Amendment activities taking place in the the lead up to the January 6 storming of the Capitol.

Trump suggested to his defense secretary that 10K DCNG should be deployed. That was his responsibility to make sure that happened. He didn't. Then on J6, when his base was attacking the Capitol, it was again his responsibility to defend the Capitol. He didn't do that either.

Wrong on all counts.
1. Trump authorized up to 20,000 NG troops for J6 "if the request for them came in".
2. SECDEF Miller wanted confirmation from civilians before he activated the NG, both Pelosi and Bowser said no.
3. Pelosi took responsibility for denying Sund's request for NG troops in a video.

Pelosi never blocked it. Want proof? Post a link saying she blocked it...

As far as Bowser, there's no evidence Patel asked her for DCNG assistance. Patel had no authority to ask for it, Bowser had no authority to request it, Bowser's letter was not addressed to Patel, Bowser claims Trump never asked her, her position is Trump, not the D.C. mayor had the authority to deploy the DCNG. Why would Trump, who had authority to deploy DCNG, ask a D.C. mayor, who had no authority to deploy DCNG, to deploy the DCNG?

There's no evidence Miller asked Pelosi.

Pelosi, who lacked authority to deploy DCNG, took responsibility for not pressing Trump, who did have authority to deploy DCNG, to deploy them.

The prosecution never specified or charged an underlying crime. The hack judge gave the jury a multiple choice alternative. Complete bullshit.

It will be overturned on appeal.

1. "I take responsibility" for not having the NG at the Capitol on J6, says she blocked it.

Nancy Pelosi says ‘I take responsibility’ for not having National Guard at the Capitol on Jan. 6 in video shot by her own daughter

2. Something triggered Bowser's letter saying that DC is not requesting additional (NG) support.
If not Patel then one of the other meeting attendees called her.
Kash says in the following video that civilian request is required by Law.

3. From your post #105, confirming that the LAW requires a civilian request to deploy the DC NG:
"In testimony to the U.S.

Bowser and Pelosi refused to request the NG for the J6 rally. Nancy Pelosi should take responsibility for the J6 riot.

Trump himself said he asked for 10K DCNG... There's no evidence Miller asked Pelosi.
Pelosi, who lacked authority to deploy DCNG, took responsibility for not pressing Trump, who did have authority to deploy DCNG, to deploy them.
Bowser's claim was for J6, that was too late, total bullshit, look at the date of her letter, JANUARY 5TH, Bowser is LYING.
My claim is before J6, at the J4 meeting, the early requests triggered her letter.
Miller didn't ask Pelosi, Sund asked Sgt. at Arms Irving, her direct report for the NG.
Irving denied the Sund request based on Pelosi's policy.
Two urgent requests for the NG on J4, by Trump and Sund, BOTH were denied by Pelosi and Bowser.
According to LAW Miller could not deploy the NG for J6.

Oh look, another liar.

They did specify an underlying crime. NY § 17.152.

A pity you're too big of a dumbfuck to recognize reality when it bitch-slaps you.

Yup. Funny how the traitor, faun, ignores that.

No, they didn't. It was a multiple choice. Completely unheard of in any American trial in the history of America.

But common in banana republics, and stalinist Russia

Nope. That you're adding words to her actual quote that she never said expises you're lying.

But you said it was Patel. Try again with facts and not guesses.

Bowser and Pelosi refused to request the NG for the J6 rally. Nancy Pelosi should take responsibility for the J6 riot.

Neither Bowser nor Pelosi were asked to deploy DCNG, as neither had any control over the DCNG.

I just showed you Trump said it was 10K DCNG. :eusa_doh:

Bowser says Trump never asked her for that and there is no evidence he did.

Pelosi says Trump never asked her for that and there's no evidence he did.

And neither of them had any control over the DCNG. If Trump actually wanted 10K DCNG (there weren't that many anyway) HE could have deployed them. He was the Commander-in-Chief of the DCNG.

So why didn't he?

And that was before J6. On J6, when he was watching his own supporters ransack the Capitol, he could have deployed them and he still didn't. What the fuck?

Yup. Funny how the traitor, faun, ignores that.

Liar. I posted the judge's jury instructions and highlighted the part where he guided them to deliberate over the underlying crimes presented by the prosecution during the trial. Not my problem your unusually low IQ prevents you from comprehending that.

No, they didn't. It was a multiple choice. Completely unheard of in any American trial in the history of America.

But common in banana republics, and stalinist Russia

Retard, NY § 17.152 only requires an individual employ "unlawful means" to influence an election. It's one single charge. As far as the "unlawful means" in NY § 17.152, prosecution presented 3 different crimes. Any one of them was sufficient to show Trump engaged in "unlawful means" to influence the election.

YOU claimed the jury didn't need a unanimous decision to convict. I proved the jury instructions said they did need a unanimous decision to convict.

YOU claimed they didn't need to name an underlying crime. I proved they did according to the judge's jury instructions.

It sucks for me that you don't have a functioning brain to know you were bitch-slapped.
