. It's our side that is the stupid ones in all of this. Mexico and other nations have been scratching their heads for years as to how dumb we are, but then they just thought to themselves how they love every minute of it.. areeeba areeeba...

The flow of illegal drugs coming in from Mexico will be significantly curtailed.
The Democrats on the board are all excited about opposing the wall, but the Democrats in Congress seem like they are just going through the motions of opposing it. They thought it was a terrific idea in 2006 when it was popular to be tough on national security so how can then explain what has changed since then?

They realized they need more illegals to vote to turn elections.

Exactly, the Democratic politicians are just putting on a show of opposing President Trump's immigration policies in the hope that Hispanics will see the as their champions and vote for them.

There is no Guatemala-Mexico border wall...that's a complete myth. There is only certain sections of the border that have some fencing and those are only found near heavy traffic border crossings.

I don't think a wall like that exists on Mexicos southern border. I think they may have a fence or something, but I was reading somewhere no wall exists. I may be wrong.

In 2006 it wasn't a wall but a fence that was proposed. do you understand the difference?

There is no difference. Both are security barriers meant to keep out Mexicans. The seven hundred miles that have been built so far were poorly planned and the new wall will be harder to get across.

You don't see the difference between a fence and a wall??? This conversation is over...

So it's like what we have now.

So Mexico is racist against Guatemalans.
The whole story is that Obama got pissed off because Mexico was allowing Central Americans essentially free passage across Mexico to enter the US illegally, so he pressured Mexico to interdict and deport them from Mexico. The have been talks about Mexico building a high tech fence with US help across its southern border, but so far Mexico is just using brutal force against detainees to discourage them from entering the country. All of this was, of course, to try to please Obama.

lol You don't see the difference either. You just feel you have to defend Democrats even if you don't understand the issue.

The wrong kind of people come through along with the good people.. In this day and age we need boundaries, just like people build fences around their house... nothing wrong with boundaries..

Mexico should do what is right for Mexico, the USA should do what is right for the USA.

I have a real moral issue with esstentially stealing Mexico's most valuable resource. Their best and brightest citizens. We steal these Mexican citizens and make them pick our fruit.

That's called slavery. That's immoral. Anyone who wants an open border for the cheap labor is an immoral racist.

We ought to use psychology instead of buildig a wall. It is far cheaper. Just put up signs every 25 yards or so warning that the area being crossed is a minefield.
