Does it not seem that the Republicans just don't to win elections. Maybe they enjoy the campaigning and mud slinging more than actually governing. Their stance on abortion sure seems to bear that out.

By a large majority, Americans do not support legislation restriction a woman's right to choose. Why haven't Republicans got the message? They continue to support the phony pro-life indicted Donald Trump who demonstrated his total disregard for women by appointing anti-abortion judges. Look at hard core conservative Kansas who failed to pass a constitutional amendment outlawing abortion.

Look at "Don't say gay" Ron DeSantis, widely loved by Republicans and viewed as a successor to Donald Trump. Last night he slinks back into Florida from a campaign trip and signs a bill into law that further restricts already restricted abortion access in Florida. And, he did it in the dark of night behind closed doors.

Well, thank goodness the Republicans learned nothing from their 2022 election failures and seem hell bent on losing bigly to Democrats in 2024.

President biden could do no better if he wanted to.

This isn't true. They may not support a total restriction but restrictions are supported.

I say, "Ban All Assault Forceps." More kids die from getting ripped apart at the doctor's office than by mass shootings ... by a LONG shot (no pun intended).

Where is the ignorance, exactly? Pregnant chick goes to the clinic. Doctor inserts forceps. The baby is dead. You can shroud the thing in women's rights and healthcare privacy all you want. But we all know what happens in those clinics. A growing human being - a living organism - is killed.

You should be aware that most abortions are now carried out with the use of drugs.
Of course Republicans want to stop that as well.

Stick your head all the way up your ass....
Stick your head all the way up Bidens ass............
Change the language, change the words..........

Murder is STILL murder!
Period.

The only ignorance is based on the left. Roe v. Wade was bad law based on a "right to privacy" that does not exist in the Constitution. It justified the murder of full term babies by turning them upside down in the birth canal and they weren't technically born as long as a couple of inches of their heads were still inside the mother. The monsters cut a hole in the back of a squirming child's head and stick a tube in to suck their brains out and their little skulls collapse. Republicans tried several times to outlaw partial birth abortion but the democrats resisted any attempt at some sort of compromise. The truth of the matter is that young women are probably relieved that they can no longer be forced by an abusive husband or boyfriend into ending the unborn life inside them and they won't endure nightmares and symptoms similar to PTSD for the rest of their lives.

Women have the right to choose from numerous types of birth control. Their only excuse for abortion is ignorance.

Not true. People simply refuse to be honest with this subject.

"Maybe they enjoy the campaigning and mud slinging more than actually governing." Dude, truer words were never spoke. It is as if they not only want Biden re-elected, but want to give back the House and lose more in the Senate as they do their best to prove, they have no intention of doing anything to even meet the country half way, and are determined to shove no abortions, for any women, any of the time (if they can get it through will still in power anywhere) whether the nation or the individual states actually want it or not. Have you noticed, this stuff never starts in state Senates ( a state's deliberative body), but starts in the states Houses of Representatives, as if intentionally planning to rule rampant of more than half the population in their state, with no regard for the numbers, the women, the next election or anything? I suspect they will rule themselves out of future re-elections and cannot be trusted to represent. Go figure.:dunno:

A dead child is a dead child, regardless of how he was killed.

If there was a way to carry out a “safe” abortion using an AR-15, perhaps then your kind might begin to care about the innocent lives being taken?

Meh, this right-leaner does not even take into account the whining about some woman's choice in the matter.

They should have used preventative measures, they had that choice too. So don't confront me making squeaking noises of "a woman's choice". It's BS, as by and large they got themselves into their state of pregnancy due to their poor choices in life.

I only see the utility in the practice of abortion. Too damn many people as it is, much less adding to the burden on society with hundreds of thousands a year more welfare cases and single mom "families" that are mostly FUBAR from the get-go.

The sooner the gop gets their heads out of their ass regarding the issue the sooner they will start winning big again.....As it is now abortion is a huge millstone around the neck of the gop.....By their own choosing.

My bet is nary a one of those preacher sounding assholes would want to be around the half-raised spawn of most of those women.

Bunch of fuckin' hypocrites kowtowing to the holy-rollers is all it is. Every damn one of them would pony-up the funds necessary to abort some "mistake" they made.

a childs life in the womb rises above politics commie .

What's not honest? Dr. Gosnell's house of horrors wasn't in Ukraine or the swamps of Louisiana. It was in Philadelphia. Pizza parlors were subject to health inspections but not abortion parlors. Police were shocked after a woman died on the table and they found corpses of full term babies all over the blood spattered floor. RvW was based on a faked "right to privacy" that does not exist in the Constitution.
