Call it revenge if you will, because I'm sure that will factor into it, but, there's more to investigate Biden over than there was Trump, plus, I remember something about "high crimes and misdemeanors are whatever we say they are".

1. The Trump "phone call" was perfectly legal. It was NOT a crime, it was a request to investigate corruption.

2. Trump did not hold any military supplies hostage, unlike Biden who withheld $1b in approved aid until Shokin was fired for investigating Hunter's cash cow (Burisma).

3. Democrats under Obama refused to give Ukraine ANY military aid. At least Trump gave them Javelin anti-tank missiles instead of blankets and MREs.

4. So Biden can actually use extortion for personal financial favors, $80,000 a month to Hunter, no problem, but Trump get blamed for more political bullshit, like Russian Collusion.

It was and rightly so imo, that favor was announcing a phony investigation to damage a domestic political rival.

The country would have been better served if the GOP had a backbone and stood up for the principles it once held and given him the Nixon treatment.

Furthermore Congress approved the aid without including "a favor" to Donnie as a sting.

They approved it long before the phone call. It was up to Trump to deliver which he did before the expiration date.

As I mentioned a few posts up, Biden was not Trump's political rival at the time the call was made. He was running for the Democrat nomination. "Look into it" is not an official request for an investigation.
