The rise of Trump explained

“The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.”

- Charles Bukowski
Notice who has no doubts that Hillary the criminal would make a good president.

"poignant"?

How so?
He claimed Gore and Kerry would be better than Bush, so I offered to pull up a quote by Kerry("better grades than Bush") where he literally admits that he would be inferior to Bush at the most defining moment of his presidency.

Gore kind of disappeared after the election so...

How does that make it "poignant"?
It is extremely damaging to his worldview.

Kerry is an idiot who could only do what Bush did at best.

Democrats rarely produce anyone more intelligent than notoriously stupid Republicans, much less the smart ones.

As a Republican in exile since 1980, I am here to tell you that the most effective POTUS since that time have been Democrats....
LOL

Clinton didn't do anything but repeatedly cheat on his cuckquean wife(your candidate this year). The popularization of the internet created his lauded "surplus" and Gingrich repeatedly fought Clinton to keep government spending down to fully utilize that.

Your worthless "Bloomberg" hasn't been very good to you.

Given that you claim to have been between the ages of 3 and 11 during Clinton's terms, on what is this bucket load of ignorance based?

Yes the photo's been slightly manipulated, but it still does a better job explaining the Bush Presidency than anything else.
You really don't want me to post that quote then...

Nope.

Here is how Kerry responded when he WAS in a position to address a crisis....

Kerry was serving in the United States Navy at the time, as lieutenant and Officer-in-Charge of Swift Boat PCF-94, which for that period primarily patrolled in the Mekong River delta. On 13 March 1969, they had completed operations, had debarked some passengers but retained others, and this squadron of five PCF boats was headed out of the river to the bay. They approached a weir (a series of poles across the river, like thousands along the shore and the shoreline of the bay, across which nets could be strung). Some of the boats hugged the shore to the left, some to the right, in order to get around. As they tried to go around, the lead boat to the left, PCF-3, was blown clear out of the water with a command detonated mine (someone was nearby to remotely detonate it). According to Sen. Kerry's account, Kerry was already injured himself, and his boat (already damaged from a second explosion) came under heavy fire, when Kerry heard "man overboard". He says that he ordered that the crew turn the boat around and return to pick up Rassmann, who had fallen off the port side or stern of PCF-94. Rassmann was for some reason unable to climb up over the cargo net near the bow of PCF-94, so Kerry pulled him on deck. The incident earned Kerry a Bronze Star with "V" Device for valor and his third Purple Heart.

In a document dated May 2, 1973, Bush's immediate superiors gave him his annual performance review for the period from May 1, 1972, to April 30, 1973. The review stated that "Lt. Bush has not been observed at this unit during the period of the report."

You believe Kerry's account, and then you have the gonads to go around calling people stupid?

Did someone tell you to hustle over here because some young gun is aiming to snatch the Tiara from you? That PTBW is a "comer", I tell you...

the idiocy is apparent when you consider how they just believe everything he says including the causes he cites.

Notice how he mentioned that crime was up for the first time in years in Baltimore, but failed to mention that they elected a Republican in 2014. He mentioned the crime rate in Chicago, but failed to mention that Illinois foolishly elected a far-right teabagger fascist in 2014.

And what did they do once in office? Across the board cuts to government services.

But how could his brain damaged devotees take the time to consider cause and effect. They are after all incapable of using any part of their brains above the amygdala, from all those years of watching Fox Noise

Johnson doesn't have a chance in hell of actually winning the election.

Even Johnson would admit that.

Explaining the rise of Trump...

1. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of waves of invading Mexicans and their anchor babies

2. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of Obama's candy-ass treatment of Radical Islam

3. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of the Treasury hemorrhaging social programming dollars for Po Folk

4. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of jobs fleeing overseas at the speed of light

5. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of all the recent LGBT legal victories and accommodation

6. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of Democratic pansy-ass political correctness

7. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of Obama and his Elitist Liberal Royalty

8. Average Americans are goddamned sick and tired of the leadership of both parties failing so miserably in so many spheres of our public life

9. Average Americans want something done... now... not later... now... they're friggin' tired of waiting

10. Attila the Hun is the first talking head that's come along promising to make all that shit go away

Thus endeth the lesson.

Wow, this just might be the new rise of Republicans without the Tea Party..... interesting.

Rassman recommended Kerry for a Silver Star. Based on such an officer's recommendation, lacking testimony to the contrary, as Kerry already had this award from a previous incident, he was awarded a Bronze Star with Combat V, instead.

Fighting for your life and the life of your comrades in battle is admirable, but it is also kind of necessary for your survival.

Being president and having to make split-second decisions most people could never even dream of making in even the most calm and serene surroundings is totally different.

And btw, national emergencies kind of involve ALL of the federal government. The legislative branch is equal in power and responsibility to the executive branch as well. Kerry and the Democrats should not have been able to gawk at the tv screen for 40 minutes.

You are trying so hard, but getting suckered by cheap con artists like Kerry doesn't make you look smart.

SO-CALLED “WAR HERO” JOHN KERRY A FRAUD

In earlier articles on this web site we have revealed the specious Silver Star (with “V” device) that Kerry allegedly won. First of all, there is no such decoration in any of the five branches of the U.S. Military.

The Silver Star does not have a “V” device (for valor) like the Bronze Star does. Yet that award is listed on the DD214 that Kerry was supposed to review and sign for accuracy. That it was displayed on his campaign web site indicates he should have, if he didn’t already, know such a listing was false and inaccurate.

Yet, the curious Kerry documents contain even more signs of falsification and fraud.

Kerry credits himself with earning four battle stars attached to his Vietnam Service Medal. Every Nam vet knows those battle stars denote various “campaigns” the recipient had to have participated in to be able to legally wear them.

Since Kerry was in Vietnam only 120 days, it would be impossible for him to have accumulated so many of the stars due to lack of time, but, what the heck! Maybe the Massachusetts senator thought “four battle stars” sounds and looks better than two.

“Yeah, that’s the ticket,” Kerry perhaps said to himself. “I’ll award myself more ‘fruit salad’ than I’m authorized, in order to fool the voters into thinking I’m a cross between Audie Murphy and General George Patton. That’ll impress ‘em. They won’t know the difference.”

Well, the many thousands of honorable Vietnam veterans Kerry smeared and slandered in his self-serving and much discredited testimony before Congress “know the difference.” And as a result, we have exposed him for what he is – a fraud.

And speaking of FRAUD, the Kerry campaign has yet to explain how the signature of former Secretary of the Navy John Lehman turns up on Kerry’s award citation for the Silver Star.

That decoration was allegedly won in 1968, many years prior to Lehman taking office in the Reagan Administration!

It is a serious crime for anyone to falsify an official military record or document – such as the forms displayed as “proof” of Kerry’s heroics on his campaign web site.

Why hasn’t the mainstream media, led by Bush-basher Dan Blather of CBS, demanded an explanation? The answer is obvious. They want any Democrat to defeat any Republican – well, maybe not any “Republican,” they still worship at the feet of Sen. John McCain. Back in 1992, some 89% of the news media polled admitted they voted for Bill Clinton. Is there any reason to think that number has lessened in recent years?

John Kerry’s ‘self-inflicted’ Purple Heart, Bronze Star

Two injuries – a small bruise on his right arm and a minor injury to his buttocks – won Kerry his Third Purple Heart and a trip home. However, the vets say, the wound to his buttocks was self-inflicted and should never have received Purple Heart consideration.

While Kerry claims the injury came from shrapnel from an underwater mine, Larry Thurlow, an officer on shore with Kerry that day, insists the wound was the result of Kerry’s decision to throw a concussion grenade into a rice pile. The “shrapnel,” he says, was actually rice pellets.

As further evidence, the vets say, Kerry himself reflected in his own journal that his buttocks’ wound came, not from a mine but, rather, from a grenade tossed into a rice cache.

Sworn statements of those present say there was no hostile fire involved in this incident for which Kerry received his third Purple Heart and the coveted Bronze Star.

“The conclusion is inescapable: that Kerry lied by reporting to the Navy that he had been wounded by shrapnel in his backside from an enemy mine when in reality he negligently wounded himself and then lied about the wound in order to secure a third Purple Heart and a quick trip home,” reads the letter.

The letter continues: “Kerry’s operating report, Bronze Star story, and subsequent ‘no man left behind’ story are a total hoax on the Navy and the nation,” they say.

As to the daring rescue discussed in the documentary video shown to the nation at the Democratic convention, the vets say the rescue was well under way under the leadership of others when Kerry returned to the scene where Special Forces soldier Jim Rassman was plucked out of the water. Eyewitnesses have signed affidavits explaining when Kerry returned, there was no more hostile fire. He just merely leaned over the boat and assisted Rassman out of the water.

“Kerry’s account of this action, which was used to secure the Bronze Star and a third Purple Heart, is an extraordinary example of fraud,” they say.

How many votes did you cast for Scrub?

Considering the dem candidates, wasn't much of a choice.

Unless I went 3rd party, or stayed home.
(which I am doing this year)

He wasn't much better than Gore or Kerry, but enough to make a difference.

He was a fucking disaster of unprecedented magnitude......

Don't ever make reference to another poster's intelligence again....
I am sure Gore's obsessive faux environmentalism and Kerry's "plan" would have served us well....

You were 14, remember.........
My uncle is a political strategist and commentator....

I got extremely interested in politics after the 2008 election, but I knew more about politics than most 14 year olds when I was 5.

Sure.....are you reading the same stuff now as you did when you were 5?
