The Turtle Goes Over The Hill

A scorched earth policy will doom his presidency. If he calls out house and senate leaders he will lose any valuable allies he has. They will call for his resignation and nothing will be done except for ushering in democratic control.

BTW - they are conducting investigations to determine if there evidence of interfering with an FBI investigation.

It's COMEY who committed a felony if he felt he was being tampered with and didn't report it to the DOJ.

You got that wrong fool!
But you always do get things wrong. Teabaggers are like that you know.Letting the oxygen supply to their brain become disrupted for that time when they are being tea-bagged.

All the gifs on the internet can't help your weak-assed posts, boy.

Screw the Rats and Mediacrats.....we can ignore their idiotic lies and attempted-scandals. What's more concerning is Mitch McConnel using the gorilla dust the left is throwing around to abandon Trump's mandate from the voters. Ol Mitch isn't even a RINO anymore....don't know what you'd call him and don't care. If Trump can't drag the turtle back in line, 2018 could put him back in the Minority Leader's seat when the Senate is lost. They say if you find a turtle sitting on a fence post, you can be pretty sure he didn't get there by himself: :nono:

McConnell Agenda
Even before the Comey memo was reported, McConnell laid out an agenda that explicitly rejected more and more of Trump’s major priorities. A tax overhaul, McConnell said, must be revenue-neutral. The president has said it would “OK” if a tax overhaul added to the deficit in the short run to stimulate the economy.

McConnell offered an unusually strong rebuff of a budget request coming from a president of his own party. Trump’s priorities “aren’t necessarily ours,” he said, adding the president’s plan to slash the State Department is “highly unlikely.” Trump is expected to unveil his detailed budget request on May 23.

McConnell also said he’s told the administration he wouldn’t support a big infrastructure stimulus package that adds to the deficit either. The forthcoming infrastructure plan must be a “credible, paid-for” proposal, he said. And he wouldn’t commit to fighting for Trump’s wall on the U.S.-Mexican border.

“We’ll probably have arguments about what’s a wall and what’s security in the course of the discussion about the spending for next year,” he said.

Trump doesn't have a "mandate". He squeaked into power via the EC. A "mandate" is strong support from voters. Trump lost the popular vote.

His promises cannot be fulfilled because they were based on lies.

The Senate is not supposed to rubber stamp the President's agenda. The Senate is supposed to hold the President in check. McConnell is doing his job.

Not interested in the leftist trash version of events....Trump won the popular vote other than Kali fruitcakes and wetbacks and 31-19 in states and the EC. You lost, you'll always lose because you're stupid.

Anyone who voted for Trump has no room to call others "stupid". I didn't vote for a lying conman who has a history of illegal activities, bankruptcies, failed businesses and an ego which is destroying his Presidency.

Trump was never going to survive a 4-year term. He's such a piece of shit that he can't help himself. He just fucks up everything he touches. He managed to go bankrupt while running a casino - twice. Losing when the house is GUARANTEED to win.

DJT - snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

True, anyone of his nature that puts his trust in russia and or putin is not a partriot.
Nor and American.
But the teabaggers don't know what to do with that pile of lying excrement now they own it.

What's Hillary doing these days other than wandering around drunk in the woods and opening a new PAC to swindle idiots like you?

If Trump could get that POS out of the Senate, I'd actually think about forgiving him for all the other shit he's done.

You mean McConnell is making noises about leaving the Trump cult?

From now on, he better have bodyguards with him at all times. As the Trump cultists here demonstrate, the cultists put anyone who leaves the cult on their "WE HATES IT FOREVER!" list. If McConnell becomes an apostate, his life is in danger, due to the cultists.
We can only hope.

Nobody in the senate wanted Trump .. until he was the nominee. The Turtle built his future upon the chance of him winning and keeping the Sup Ct. gop. But he burned bridges even with ten or so gop senators who remember what it was like when Justices got at least 60 votes from both sides of the aisle. If Trump had actually been able to move legislation like W did pre-Iraq or Reagan or even Slick, they might have rallied, but the Turtle's entire career - up until the Garland thing - was about leading from behind. Wait until at least 60% of his senators get on board an idea, and then support it. Now he's up for re-election in .... wait for it ... 2020

When all these phony "scandals" play out, Trump will remember who stood by him and who didn't. The GOP will likely have a 60 member Senate in 2018 and then the fate of the Turtle will be know. If I were Trump, I'd fire Ms. Chao (the Turtle's wife) to wake his ass up.....The president gave her Transportation and the Turtle is now saying any infrastructure deal has to be deficit-neutral....ie won't happen. The guy is becoming a creepshow and an arrow in the Rat's quiver along with McCain.

Don't play. I thought that was the code word to go head and transmit to mother Russia. Stop playing.

The media and corrupt Washington establishment politicians treated Reagan the exact same way they are treating Trump, they hated Reagan's guts.

Well they've already got his NSA talking to Russia about ending sanctions, so I don't think the phony scandals will play out. I think they at least will have a pattern of Trump surrogates suggesting ending sanctions during the campaign, coupled with Russia aiding his campaign. And unless the passes HC reform and tax reform before the congressional elections, he may lose the house.

But Reagan won them over. And while Iran Contra was a bad episode, by and large Reagan was a unifying potus who it turned out was not a warmonger, and who compromised on social sec and medicare to keep them solvent, and actually raised revenue by taxing more stuff at lower rates.

Link to "ending sanctions"? that's not true.
