The reality of course is that the "Palestinian" arabs have no more interest in a negotiated two state solution today than at any other time in the 60 plus years since the state of Israel was reborn. The Arabs / Islamics would not accept a Jewish state alongside an even larger "Palestinian" state in the late 1930's as was offered by the British in the Peel Plan. The Arabs / Islamics refused an opportunity when two similarly-sized states were supported by the UN in 1947 and the Arabs / Islamics defaulted to a war of aggression that went horribly wrong for them. There were other opportunities refused by Arabs / Islamics in the U.S. at Camp David in 2000 and still again at Taba in 2001. (In these last two cases, the negotiation by Israel was to return all of Gaza and most all of the West Bank).

The real myth, obviously is that the Islamist Terrorist Palis' will ever have any interest in peace. Peace and secure borders have always been the Israeli goal: end the continuing Arab / Islamic terrorism, compromise on all the major issues, and finally put an end to the constant Islamic terrorist attacks. For the Pali terrorists, peace is not a goal. It is only a hudna so that the welfare cheaters can re-arm, but peace itself has no meaning to the Pali Death Cult. Their goal, as stated by the Islamic terrorists they put into political office is the end of Israel. In other words, one side of this conflict (Israel), wants to move forward absent an utterly hostile islamic menace at its border. The other side's goal (the Pali Death Cult),is for that never to happen.

The Pali Death Cutists believe their goal may be achieved through political or military capitulation by Israel, or through force at some point; another Arab -Moslem initiation of war. Although, in terms of the humiliating lossses the Arab losers have sufferd so far - that's not likely. But ultimately, Palestinian islamic terrorism and violence are always a part of the Islamic terrorist equation, designed and intended to ensure that Israelis can never let their guard down adjoining the Pali Death Cult.
