...now showing on TCM.

It's appears to be in sepia tone (the reddish version of black and white) and uses a lot of painted background scenery.

It's amazing that Dorothy can fall into a pig pen and come out with a clean dress.

More to follow.

Oh no! It's a musical!

I forgot...it's Judy Garland playing Dorothy.

Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon supposedly syncs up with The Wizard of Oz somehow.

Toto escapes the basket of Almira Gulch and returns home. Dorothy and Toto run away with a suitcase and picnic basket...run into Professor...runs home in a tornadic storm...

...enters the house instead of the storm cellar...gets knock out by a flying window..the house gets sucked up into the air..chickens (in the coop) fly by...then a cow,,then two men in a rowboat..then the Witch Gulch..

...then the house lands...and COLOR comes to the screen...the Yellow Brick Road, flowers, a walk bridge...a little village of round, thatched roof huts..and a purple bubble...They must not be in Kansas...

...Witch Gulch was under the house from Kansas...and the Munchins wear funnt little shoes...and gather at the spiral end of the Yellow Brick Road..

Along comes the Wicked Witch of the West...and now she must follow the Yellow Brick road...in her ruby red slippers...off to see the Wizard ...in the Emerald City..

...they take the right fork...to the apple tree...the one that talks...and meet the rusted Tin Man who promptly begs for oil...and has no heart....
