Think before you yell treason

And yes, threatening to cut off military aid unless that country provides dirt on a political rival is an impeachable offense.

How is it that investigating biden is called "digging up dirt" but investigating Trump is not?

Trump called for a foreign country to provide information on Biden. The investigation being done on Trump is being done by US personnel. Getting political dirt on a candidate from a foreign country is illegal according to our laws. So is using the office of the presidency to intimidate foreign leaders into giving information on a political rival. Interestingly enough, people in the Ukraine have said that while it may have not looked so good on the surface, Biden has done nothing illegal according to their laws.

THOUGHTS FROM AN INDEPENDENT

Before tempers get too high, and people start yelling "treason" at
whistleblowers, I would invite all of you to read the statute on
treason. 1. No whistleblower has levied war against the United States
and 2. No whistleblower has given aid and comfort to our enemy.
This is an issue between our President and a branch of the Federal
Government. So, let's let the legal process work this out. Prosecutors,

defence lawyers, and judges have been doing it pretty well for over
200 years now. :bye1:

18 U.S. Code § 2381.Treason
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
What was that one whistle blower? Snowden? Hmmm funny how the reversals

Snowden is a traitor to the shadow government. He is an American hero for
standing up for the Constitution on OUR behalf..

.....Trump was elected fairly/legally/etc---and the Dems/leftists have not accepted that..they keep trying to get rid of a legally/fairly/etc elected POTUS = TREASON!!!

House Democrats and their supporters are turning us into a Banana Republic.
The CIA and FBI have become the Democrat 'Secret Police' and the corrupted media their propagandists towards deposing a legally elected President.
One House Committee should be handling this impeachment inquiry, the Judiciary Committee, but instead we have six!
In addition, the normal course of the last 3 impeachment inquiry subpoenas occurred after a House majority vote, 218 or greater.
Here, we have no vote so far, but subpoenas are being issued.

We'll see you treasonous Dems in Court concerning the latter!

brothers and sisters: no nation has shed more blood for more noble causes than America. its benevolence is unmatched by any country in the world.

lets not throw that out the window by calling each other traitors, my friends!

You know, the interesting thing about Trump saying that the whistleblower committed treason, is that there was no treason to commit. If the whistleblower had taken the information and given it to a foreign country, then yeah, maybe treason could be considered. But, they didn't, they took the information and gave it to the US government to make them aware of a possible illegal situation.

Trump is the one who has been asking foreign governments for help in getting political dirt on Biden. If anyone is guilty of treason, it would be Trump.

Current Democrats do not abide by the Constitution and Constitutional precedent; so that makes the treasonous bastards and their synchophants synonymous with a foreign country.

Adam Schitt embedded a CIA spy in the executive branch to conduct espionage against the president of the United States. Espionage against heads of states is universally viewed as an act of war.

The Stalinist democrats have engaged in treason - flat out and no question about it.

Pure bullshit.

List breaches of the Constitution stupid

The founders put a very specific and narrow definition of treason in the constitution for a good reason. Republicans deserve to live in a country where allegiance to the leader is compulsory but most Americans rightly find the very concept repulsive.

You Stalinists have committed in an act of war by engaging in espionage against the president of the United States.

What you've done is treason.
