The 1800 inmates that remain are serious offenders and the sheriff has already released 1400 inmates who are low-level offenders. He is simply protecting the public as is his mission according to the California constitution, I believe. My view is that the police are our best defense against crime in our country and to defund or otherwise inhibit their ability to serve and protect because of a few bad eggs![]()
