You have it backwards. Fauci has no intelligence gathering capability. Trump's 16 intelligence agencies briefed Trump on everything they knew about COVID, and what was happening in Wuhan, and in China. They had wiretaps, electronic intercepts, satellite surveillance, and even telephone and radio traffic between Wuhan and Beijing.
Trump was told exactly what the situation was. And Trump only told Fauci, what he wanted to tell Fauci, who would then repeat the lies that Trump told hm.
Understand yet? Information went from US Intelligence, to Trump to Fauci. Not the other way around.
