The thread is about open carry, which I do not support in regards to long guns. If you do, fine. Showing the strength in weapons unless forced is not what is taught in any tactic class I took or taught. On the civilian side, showing weapons to intimidate, only works against those, both fearful and rational, other than that it just provokes.
