Time to ban knives on college campuses. 9 stabbed in Houston

The consensus on the Right around here is that this nut should have been able to go buy an assault rifle, no questions asked.

Bull shit... but on the other hand, it's the consensus of the LEFT around here that we need total gun confiscation in America.

And now, NOW, well hell, WE NEED A WAITING A PERIOD, BACK GROUND CHECK and UNIVERSAL REGISTRATION BEFORE YOU CAN BUY A KNIFE!

He could have. He's in Houston.

They just want to try and ridicule. Next time a report of someone being killed with a baseball bat or hammer I'll expect the same nonsense.

Now, lets compare what happens when someone in Texas tries to massacre with a knife vs when they use a gun

Luby's massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On October 16, 1991, 35-year-old George "Jo Jo" Pierre Hennard, an unemployed merchant mariner or able seaman who was described by others as angry and withdrawn, with a dislike of women, drove his blue 1987 Ford Ranger pickup truck through the front window of a Luby's cafeteria at 1705 East Central Texas Expressway in Killeen. Yelling "This is what Bell County did to me!", Hennard then opened fire on its patrons and staff with a Glock 17 pistol and, later, a Ruger P89. He stalked, shot, and killed 23 people while wounding another 20 before committing suicide. Approximately 140 people were in the restaurant at the time

Biggest difference in a mass shooting vs mass stabbing?

In the stabbing, most of the victims can be interviewed next week for the full story.

Who doesn't know guns are more efficient killing tools than knives? Do you really think your link was necessary?

No.. not 'more efficient' in killing.. just a different type of weapon.. you can kill 20 out of 20 just as easily in a surprise situation with a knife as you can with a handgun... you can also be just as inefficient with a firearm as some are with knives and other hand to hand weapons, as we have seen MANY times with MANY different attackers

How about the little 4 yearold who picked up a gun that was left laying around and killed a lady. If it were a knife he might have cut himself.....

Hmmmmm.....Obviously the OP doesn't understand the difference

Jim Jones killed 900+ people in 1978. He didn't use a gun or a knife.

They did in fact have guns and forced those people to drink, and those who didn't got shot. Jackass Jones killed himself with a gun. The Congressman was killed with a gun. I bet they had big knives too.

And yet Jim Jones killed a massive amount of people without using a gun or knife to do the killing.

The problem wasn't the cyanide, the problem wasn't the guns, the problem wasn't the knives. The problem was Jim Jones.

Government has murdered over 280 million civilians in the last 100 years, we need to ban government's from having guns!

No. You don't understand the OP. Shocking! The OP is making a sarcastic argument for banning knives, which is the same argument freaks like you are making for gun control.

Bull shit.

Now aside from the leftist CRAP and HYPERBOLE they throw around, it's not about the KNIVES or the GUNS. The REAL issue is WHO is doing these atrocities and WHY? Isn't it ODD that all these mass killings are happening in SCHOOLS? WHO RUNS AMERICA'S SCHOOLS? LIBERALS! But unless the perps are using a gun, the leftists don't give a flying FUCK, because that doesn't help them with their RABID desire to DISARM AMERICA and their HATRED of the constitution.

Gee Dave, got anything from our country? Or a story with a knife in it?

Jesus H Chryst, was this somekind of comic relief or what?

"which took place last month in Barangay (village) Sauyo."

In a radio interview with Rina Evangelista, the victim’s mother, she said that her daughter told her that the boy, her playmate, had stabbed her with a barbecue stick.

The girl said that as they were playing, they started arguing and the boy stabbed her. The incident happened on September 27 at the Herminigildo Compound in Sauyo, Novaliches, Quezon City.

The girl was taken to a hospital where she remained confined until she passed away at 6 a.m. on Sunday due to pneumonia and complications arising from her injury.

According to doctors, the stick pierced a portion of her heart. The wound, however, got infected.
