Todays politicians are blatant liars, I'm sick of it frankly.

Isn't sad that fictional characters have better morals and character than our politicians?

The problem with the liberal mind set is that they don't understand the concept of morality and role morals play in democracy, and feel they are somehow above such petty beliefs, well demonstrated on these pages by the end justifies the means regardless of the facts and individual freedom, as long as someone else flips the bill.

I think Sanders is a pretty stand up guy who speaks from the heart in a selfless way... This is why he resonates with so many. It's too bad he is so extreme with his policy's... I think he has the heart but not the head for the job

I think he has the head but no charisma.

I don't think he ever progressed beyond the 60's.

The morality (or lack thereof) of our "leaders" is a reflection of the morality (or lack thereof) of the electorate, so if you want to know who to blame for the immorality of our politicians just look in the mirror.

I think you are right. That is why I suggest a man from the military where discipline is the order of the day. I don't think a career soldier has the many flaws we have.

Actually, if one wanted the military to take over and create a police state, one might first attack the moral fiber of a country. Think about it, if the nation turned into a nation of law breakers and convicts, how would one govern them? The only choice would be to choose a warden to house the inmates and build a jail wall around them. A police state would be the only alternative. Only then would they find the will to build a border fence like in the former USSR.

Freedom demands the ability of society to police their own actions through morality. As Progs have kicked out the 10 commandments out of the court rooms and prayer out of our schools and demanded that children be taught anything but morality in public schools, is it any wonder we are where we are?
