Top Black Staffers Leave The Republican National Committee

From the OP:

A recent USA Today poll showed that if Trump faces off against Democrat Hillary Clinton in November, voters of color would overwhelmingly reject the business mogul. Black voters were the most pronounced, backing Clinton 67 percent of the time.
No shit...if Trump is elected jobs will be available and the people of color...including red people...will have to go to work.

How about those who pretend to be red?

In your world, unless the GOP is advocating for more freebies to blacks, they're not reaching out.

Please name ONE credible thing that the Republican Party has done for blacks since President Lincoln.

Making statements in the form of a question is so disingenuous.

How about the EITC, I am sure that helps a lot of folks white and black. That will be my ONE the rest is just icing.

Or how about this:

The good that Reagan did for black America | The San Diego Union-Tribune

Indeed, Andrew Brimmer, the Harvard-trained black economist, the former Federal Reserve Board member, estimated that total black business receipts increased from $12.4 billion in 1982 to $18.1 billion in 1987, translating into an annual average growth rate of 7.9 percent (compared to 5 percent for all U.S. businesses.

The success of the black entrepreneurial class during the Reagan era was rivaled only by the gains of the black middle class.

In fact, black social scientist Bart Landry estimated that that upwardly mobile cohort grew by a third under Reagan's watch, from 3.6 million in 1980 to 4.8 million in 1988. His definition was based on employment in white-collar jobs as well as on income levels.

All told, the middle class constituted more than 40 percent of black households by the end of Reagan's presidency, which was larger than the size of black working class, or the black poor.

The impressive growth of the black middle class during the 1980s was attributable in no small part to the explosive growth of jobs under Reagan, which benefited blacks disproportionately.

Indeed, between 1982 and 1988, total black employment increased by 2 million, a staggering sum. That meant that blacks gained 15 percent of the new jobs created during that span, while accounting for only 11 percent of the working-age population.

Meanwhile, the black jobless rate was cut by almost half between 1982 and 1988. Over the same span, the black employment rate – the percentage of working-age persons holding jobs – increased to record levels, from 49 percent to 56 percent.

The black executive ranks especially prospered under Reagan. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission reported that the number of black managers and officers in corporations with 100 or more employees increased by 30 percent between 1980 and 1985.

During the same period, the number of black professionals increased by an astounding 63 percent.

The burgeoning of the black professional, managerial and executive ranks during the 1980s coincided with a steady growth of the black student population at the nation's colleges and universities in the 1980s.

Even though the number of college-aged blacks decreased during much of the decade, black college enrollment increased by 100,000 between 1980 and 1987, according to the Census Bureau.

Meanwhile, the 1980s saw an improvement in the black high school graduation rate, as the proportion of blacks 18 to 24 years old earning high school diplomas increased from 69.7 percent in 1980 to 76 percent by 1987.

On balance, then, the majority of black Americans made considerable progress in the 1980s.

George W. Bush is loved in Africa and for good reason;

Bush's Biggest Achievements

Humanitarian Aid in Africa
In his 2003 State of the Union address, President Bush announced the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), a $15 billion global program to fight HIV/AIDS—the largest international effort in history created to fight a disease. In July 2008, Congress passed a $48 billion reauthorization that adds significant funding for tuberculosis and malaria. Frequent administration critic Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) has called PEPFAR "the single most significant thing the president has done."

The effort is part of Bush's emphasis on foreign aid, particularly within Africa. In the president's first term, the US more than doubled development assistance to Africa and helped secure $34 billion in debt relief for 19 African countries. Today, foreign aid across the globe is three times what it was upon Bill Clinton's departure, though it is still lower, as a percentage of GDP, than most developed nations.

But PEPFAR, the centerpiece of Bush's Africa outreach, has come under considerable criticism. Thousands of Africans get free antiretroviral drugs that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars per month, but the White House has insisted that huge chunks of PEPFAR's budget go to abstinence-only education, and that none of it go to programs that promote needle exchanges and condom distribution.

Just one? ok. While Democrats voted against it, Republicans gave blacks the right to vote. Here's one for the Demo party: Democrats gave blacks abortion mills to black communities to eradicate blacks.

The RNC, which has made broadening its base a priority, just lost its head of black outreach.

The Republican National Committee is losing the person who leads the GOP’s outreach to black communities, as first reported by NBC News and confirmed by The Huffington Post.

Kristal Quarker-Hartsfield, the national director of African-American Initiatives at the RNC, is leaving the organization to work for Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) as his director of intergovernmental affairs. Her last day is set to be Friday, and she is the second black top staffer to depart the RNC this month.

Quarker-Hartsfield and the RNC did not return repeated requests for comment on her reasons for leaving.

Quarker-Hartsfield joins several other staffers of color who have departed the RNC recently. Orlando Watson, communications director for black media, left earlier this month. Tara Wall and Raffi Williams, son of Fox News political analyst Juan Williams, both left their press positions at the RNC late last year.

RNC Chair Reince Priebus has said that expanding the party and reaching out to groups of people who don’t usually vote Republican are priorities. After the 2012 elections, he famously released an autopsy report concluding that the GOP needed to broaden its base if it wanted to survive a changing country.

Well, this isn't a good sign for the RNC trying to broaden its base. Not surprising...
You are one vile little bitch!
Everyone of the 'blacks' who "left" the RNC went on to work for the GOP in some capacity.
Your deep quilt is making you put up fucking lies.
How pathetic you are.
But hey! Who is surprised Pocahontas?

So the first one left one Republican job for another Republican job. What about the others?

People leaving their jobs for other jobs is now news?
be honest, does that move aound like smart career progression to you?

I have no idea, I don't know how good each job actually is.

This isn't news, It's fluff.
now this is purely based on assumption on my part, but moving from the national stage and a job that the rnc pays lots of lip service to to go work for a small state governor in a job that doesn't seem terribly important and may not be around in 3 years doesn't seem like climbing the ladder

it's going from a committee job (albeit at the national level) to being on the staff of an elected executive (admittedly in a smaller State). Not sure how you can tell just from that which job is better (or more importantly, pays more).

Find out that he took a pay cut? maybe then there would be an issue here.
