Uh...a nation of diverse people and rules which don't attempt to force everyone into the same box?

You have to admit that having a passport issued to a man when one has undergone a gender changing operation could certainly lead to problems, wouldn't you think? It might even a life and death problem in places which are more backward regarding such matters, such as Saudi Arabia.

And, it's not limited just to passports, but all forms of ID.
