Max Sterling was a repenting Christian crusader and prince who fell in love with a galactic princess named Jane Royal. Max had property-shares in the Kansas City Royals (MLB) franchises and wanted to share them with Jane after they married. However, he first had to deal with a nefarious media war involving ruthless capitalism-pirates and an ominous Internet super-virus named 'Video-Man.' Would Max conquer the demons of modernism before being able to retire peacefully with Jane?
Max had only one friend --- his daughter-in-law Michelle whom he watched over after divorcing Michelle's mother (Max's ex-wife) Patricia. Patricia was now an evil baroness of the super-terrorist organization known as Cobra. Max kept 'civil relations' with Patricia and saw her once a year, but secretly, he dreamed of running away with Jane Royal and Michelle (perhaps to New Zealand or Denmark!). Michelle was the source of optimism in Max's life, so he was determined to rescue her from the terrible sea of modern capitalism monstrosities (e.g., World War Z) and keep her safe from Video-Man.
Video-Man had assembled a mighty army of A.I. 'creatures' he called Transformers. These cybernetic 'beings' were given special names like Six-Shot, Cyclonus, Scourge, and Grimlock. Video-Man wanted his 'robo-virus' army to rain down anarchy all over the modern globe, connected by wires and computing networks. Max knew that Video-Man was like the AntiChrist, so he planned to create a safe 'escape circuit' so he, Jane, and Michelle could peacefully retire and enjoy the more hospitable amenities of computing civilization (e.g., Facebook, Expedia, Amazon.com).
Max took his share-holdings of the Kansas City Royals and decided they represented a human enterprise regarding the distribution of franchise-related intellectual properties on the Internet. Max created Royals arrays and computer-graphic interfaces to disseminate on the World Wide Web. These distributions confounded Video-Man and his evil Transformers who only wanted to subvert the communications of civilization choreography found on the otherwise user-friendly Internet. Video-Man wanted to use cyber-warfare to confound geopolitical commerce-engaged peace-negotiations, and Max's Royals cell-architecture on the Internet defied Video-Man's diabolical scheme to use cyber-channels to create insanity. It was a triumph of capitalism(!).
Max achieved the impossible and spent his retirement years making Christian wedding cyber-albums of Jane and his daughter Michelle. Max and Jane lived happily as husband-and-wife, and he, Jane, and Michelle forgot about those terrible times involving Video-Man and terrorism (e.g., Cobra). Max continued to keep civil relations with his ex-wife Patricia (now the 'peacetime-vizier' with Cobra negotiating with the Trump Administration during tedious UN proceedings), but he decided his special cyber-project involving Christian prayers about Jane and Michelle was all the 'modern intrigue' he craved(!).
GOD: Max is a real success-story.
SATAN: Yes, his Christian cyber-albums about Jane and Michelle are beautiful!
GOD: Max has managed to 'negotiate' a 'separate peace' in the cyber-age.
SATAN: Americans had started 'living-out' films like WarGames and RoboCop.
GOD: Perhaps intelligence can indeed be a benefit to mankind...
SATAN: What about Video-Man and his Transformers?
GOD: The cyber-war continues, but new soldiers will arise to meet the challenge!
SATAN: No one will ever forget the legacy of Max Sterling.
GOD: Or what he did for humanity and how he earned his retirement.
SATAN: Jane and Michelle are 'paragons' of happiness for Max...
GOD: Will terrorism finally cease?
SATAN: There is a timeless human urge to rebel!
GOD: That is the danger...
SATAN: Perhaps we should encourage a 'cyber-UN' architecture.
GOD: We shouldn't tempt mankind with more 'labyrinth toys.'
SATAN: It seems that mankind is in need of continuing inspiration.
GOD: There's a difference between supervision and indulgence.
SATAN: Will the future human society be a Tech-Utopia (as Max envisioned)?
