I guess we have to consider all this relevant, now that Trump IS a politician. But prior to that, there is nothing wrong with a change in views.

In 2007 I was far more liberal than I am now.

Now I'm a centrist...so the libs think I'm a righty, and the conservatives think I'm lefty.

What I am, is someone who expresses his views without regard to party lines
