I happen to agree that this is wrong. How is it that the government raises taxes, and then turns around and gives money to people to help offset the increase in taxes.

Here is where you and I are different.

I'll criticize Trump for this, just as I would criticize any President the signs off on raising taxes on the citizens.

The only difference between this tax and one imposed through Congress is that this tax has an end game strategy and a means of ending the tax that will benefit the nation as a whole.

The progressive way would be to institute this tax -- forever.
