Trump campaign staff had altercation with official at Arlington National Cemetery

Actually it's probably more accurate to say that a Trump staffer was assaulted by an Arlington employee but that wouldn't fit the left's hate filled narrative these days.

If that was the case, it would have been due to non-compliance with federal regulations.

When somebody violates the law, what do you use? Harsh language?

A spokesman for the loser's campaign described in a derogatory manner the man who tried to stop them from holding a prohibited event at Arlington. No, no, no! He's a man who's devoted his life to ensuring Arlington cemetery remains a sacred place.

The story is pure BS.

Cheeto Benito wanted to desecrate the grave of Marine who died because the Orange Shit Stain seriously cut down the military force in Afghanistan. He wanted to make a political ad. He was NOT there to honor that Marine, he was use his grave in a political ad. Fuck him.

There no regulations preventing someone from appearing in a photo with thumbs up at Arlington. Why don't you ask the families of the members of the Military that Biden killed with his hastily withdraw from Afghanistan if a photo op was inappropriate? Trump showed those families more respect than Biden ever did. If you look at the incident rationally it seems that the Arlington employee was a political activist as well as the instigator and the Trump staffer was the victim.

Veteran of Arlington Cemetery 'Old Guard" Bashes Trump For Trump's Politics On Graves.

Activist and veteran Charlotte Clymer took to X to attack Donald Trump for his latest actions at Arlington National Cemetery with a detailed account of what it was like to serve in the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, nicknamed "The Old Guard."

Clymer described the importance of repeatedly practicing carrying caskets until the team could make flawless movements, which she compared to a "synchronized swimming team."

That summer, she recalled, was miserably hot in Washington, D.C., and the air conditioning went out in the barracks.

"We’d run through flag-folding drills at night in those hot barracks," she described. "We’d stand in the hallway in our casket teams, and we’d fold and fold and fold until we could do it in our sleep. It is an exacting choreography. No movement wasted or erred."

I wondered who allowed Trump to desecrate Arlington National Cemetery with his “thumbs-up” photo-op visit. Turns out Arlington staff tried to inhibit Trump’s actions—and one staff member WAS ATTACKED by Trump campaign staffers.

You can read the disgraceful details in this article from NPR.

Not only violated rule (2) of Arlingtons code of conduct, but actually assaulted a staff member.

This never happened.

You can't take a photo of someone laying a wreath in Arlington?!

The United States Third Infantry ("The Old Guard") is ceremonial unit for the U.S. Army.

Their barracks is across the street from the Parade Ground were Orville Wright flew first airplane acquired by the Army in 1908.

In the heat of D.C.'s summer, they wear heavy Dress Blues when they are burial duty. I could see them marching to and from Arlington from the front door of my barracks, building 406. The soldiers learn their march by practicing on the curbs on the parade ground. Not a very fun to march, I'm told many of the soldiers have black and blue bruises on legs and many of them cracked their knees.

The cemetery released a statement confirming there was an “incident,” and added that “federal law prohibits political campaign or election-related activities” at any military cemetery, including photography “in direct support of a partisan political candidate’s campaign. Arlington National Cemetery reinforced and widely shared this law and its prohibitions with all participants.”

There's no end to the nastiness coming from Trump, everything about the man is vile, he brings nothing but trouble to everyone, he's done nothing for anyone besides himself, he's disgusting but still his oh-so desperate extremist supporters can see no wrong in him, he's filth and frankly anyone who admires, supports him is also filth:

“The hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery are the final resting place of our American heroes. Trump defiled Arlington National Cemetery by doing a crass campaign stunt over the grave of a dead hero. And his campaign staff acted like bullies,” the Democratic California congressman Ted Lieu posted to X.
