Further to what I said yesterday, but rather than Bannon suing to block the publication of this book, it is Trump doing so.

This will place pressure on both the publisher, author and Bannon. They will have to stand behind their assertions or not publish it. If they stand behind it, they risk slander and even the danger or accidentally releasing what might be deemed classified.

Trump demands publisher stop release of book that caused Bannon fallout

President Trump's legal team on Thursday sent a letter to the publisher and author of a forthcoming book about the White House demanding they immediately stop its publication, a day after excerpts led the president to issue a rare, blistering takedown of former adviser Steve Bannon.

The letter was sent to Steve Rubin and Michael Wolff, the publisher and author of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.” It demands the halting of publication of the book and "a full and complete retraction and apology."

“Mr. Trump hereby demands that you immediately cease and desist from any further publication, release or dissemination of the Book, the Article, or any excerpts or summaries of either of them, to any person or entity, and that you issue a full and complete retraction and apology to my client as to all statements made about him in the Book and Article that lack competent evidentiary support,” the attorney, Charles J. Harder, wrote in a letter obtained by Fox News.

Unbelievable....people have written tell all insider books about all sorts of high profile people like Clinton and Obama. And it was applauded by the right.

Not so with Trump I guess.

Fortunately bar for this sort of litigation is set very high. Cant wait for it to be published :)

Trump also said he’s going to sue Bannon and Michael Wolff.
Just like he promised to sued his 19 women sexual assault victims that came forward.

Fat ass is nothing but a blowhard that doesn’t follow thru with anything.

One big difference, he is still in power.

If they want to run with a story after his presidency, that's one thing, during is quite another. No different than many of the FBI and CIA books I have read, they weren't "real time" accounts, they came long after their time with the agencies, and it also had to be vetted and approved by their agencies.

If you are going to exploit your role within the WH during a presidency, what if anything can ever be deemed classified? These types of books can have consequences for ongoing negotiations, could theoretically cause real harm to American National Security.

Trump in his private quarters eating fast food and constantly watching TV and screaming at someone.
His lawyers always know where to find him.
Not working.

Trump’s lack of knowledge , unwillingness to learn, berating his own intelligence agencies etc. are the real harm to national security.

Trump wanted a lock in his bedroom door because he’s so paranoid but the secret service wouldn’t allow it.

Not so. Most of the anti Obama books. (including one on Benghazi) came out while he was in office. Same with Bush.

Do you blame him? He has the entire world against him and his efforts to raise America back to prominence. He has been threatened and had celebrities mock his demise. In short, the alt-left are batshyte crazy.

I wouldn't trust anyone either, and I would insist on many locks and probably have a shotty under my bed for safe keeping. I wouldn't even be ashamed to take this position considering what has gone on.

Maybe you haven't been watching, but Rand Paul was blindsided and sent to the hospital by his neighbour, this after he survived near death at the hands of a madman with a semi automatic on a baseball field. There is some dangerous stuff going on with some, not only is it thoroughly unfair, it's downright dangerous.

They must have been true then, and/or not have given classified details. Opinion and research is different than an insider publicly going after someone, with what might be considered lies or distortions, unless proven.

What in the book would you consider classified? Oh no. ISIS knows that Trump has three TVs in his room. Alert the Secret Service. We may have to change his security detail.

I don't know I haven't read the book, have you? The point I'm making is that some of what is stated could be deemed classified.

Trump is only suing because that is what he does not because there are any substantive differences between this and a lot of other books.

You don't know what's in the Trump book, and you don't know what's in the Obama books, yet you've already made up your mind. Just admit that you only care when it's your guy in the barrel. You couldn't look like less of a partisan hack if you had Trump's cum dripping from your chin.

Trump also said he would not allow North Korea to develop the missiles it has developed. He also said he would release his taxes. He says many things. It is impossible to know what he really means.

If Trump bans this book, I suspect it will be uploaded online and distributed freely all across the world. All the info in it confirmed by Trump’s tantrums and Bannon’s silence.

Yes, read by the alt-left, socialists and anti-American countries who have always hated America and dreaded the day they would hire a businessman who can see through the b.s

Not sure how that would work legally.

This just in. Trump is reportedly turning blue, having sworn that he will not breathe again until people are nice to him. Aids have put pillows under his feet to protect them as he lies on the floor on his stomach kicking the floor.

Because you’re not very bright. It would spread everywhere. The book Trump is too scared for anyone to read? Everyone will want it if banned. I might pick up a copy today before Trump’s temper tantrum goes down.

The information is already out there. Trump’s just being a little bitch again for the umpteenth time in his Presidency.
