Apparently Trump favors Pelosi and Shumer over Cruz



Trump was asked this morning who on the Democrat side of the aisle he can work with to cut deals

If he thinks he can get Pelosi and Reid to give up some of their agenda to reach a consensus with him... well, let's just say I'll believe that when I see it.

We've had Republicans making deals with those two and their ilk for decades. And the result is always a slow slide to the left. And sometimes not so slow. "Making deals" with them has a very bad name among actual conservatives.

But if his method will be to make national speeches telling everyone what conservative program he wants done, and gets millions to pound on their congressmen to get them to vote for it, and "cut a deal" that way, then I'm all for him.

Well, 2 things.(1) If he wants to work with Shumer and Pelosi - he just lost MY vote. (2) If he decides to throw a hisst fit and not show up at the debate because he feels "hurt - he has lost my vote.

My biggest question mark with Trump was exactly that - where the hell does his TRUE loyalties lie? Hell, who's to say that Donald gets elected - Vald Putin hurts his feelings and he just walks away from the Presidency. I wouldn't put it past him.

he doesn't really need to ''cut a deal'' with them since he already agrees with them on MOST things.....

I can see how Cruz would be harder to negotiate with, since Trump differs with Cruz on MOST things....
